Winegard Attennae Amplified vs Non-Amplified

Not that much of a difference except for price. On the non-amplified Attennae I received 35 digital HD Stations and on the amplified 45 stations. Unfortunately most of the additional stations are religious; Spanish language; or commercials to sell things. Both attennae are easy to set up and the...  see moreof Dafney's review

Living on the fringes of the viewing area, it was very hard to find the right spot in my room for reception but when I did all channels except one came in well though sometimes sporadic.  see moreof PacP3's review

A snap to hook up. Just have to move around to get the best reception. Receive all but one of the network channels. I'm SW of Chicago and very happy with the channels I do pick up.  see moreof Sam07's review

I was first skeptical to try a TV antenna as in the past I have not had good luck with them. However after reading positive reviews I decided to give another try as I was done paying my cable TV $28 each month to just get basic TV broadcast channels. The antenna is super powerful. I was not only ab...  see moreof Apple Fan's review

This antenna didn't work for me, but neither do any others. I tried many different 50-mile range indoor antennas but couldn't get a signal from CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC at the same time while living in Uptown Minneapolis, MN.  see moreof bseppelt's review

Antenna pulls in all my local channels, even during dicey weather. I'd tried several other models of antenna with poor results. This Winegard amplified option gets a few more channels than their non-ampified version. And the long cable is longer than any others. It does need to be in a window.
