Q: If the material is made from cotton and polyester, and is not waterproof, then what makes it "wipeable" and easy to clean, other than it being washable?

A: Hi sarah - Thanks for asking about this durable wipeable changing pad cover. The center panel can be easily wiped clean. It's constructed from 65% polyester/35% cotton and the sides are 100% polyester. For heavy-duty messes, throw the cover into the wash for easy cleanup. - Philip

Q: Does this cover go over the top and leave the bottom open? I'm trying to find a cover that won't go over the bottom of the changing pad.

I love this changing pad cover. You can easily wipe away the cover and don’t have to wash it right away. Unlike other completely cloth covers this one is a lot friendlier to blow outs. The only downside I would say is that it does get cold, but that’s with lots of things so it’s not a deal breaker

My son has terrible reflux and spits up a gazillion times a day. We don't have enough sheets or time and patience to change his sheets for his dream on me bedside bassinet every time he spits. This is a Godsend. I just wish that they made crib sheets since he'll be moving on to his crib now. I have not been able to find anything comparable. Love these, so glad they're OEKO-TEX certified because clean is key for us. I'm so glad they have this neutral colored nongendered option and hope they come out with one that is ivory/light beige on the sides and not too busy in the middle (maybe something like little animals or mushrooms). The urine going up to the back of the head is a thing so we just put one of those oval changing cloths at the top part where her clothes and head are and that stopped any pee from traveling upward. We do have some cloth changing pad covers but these are so much better- easy to clean and don't get stained or stinky (as quickly).

Out of all the changing pad covers I bought, this one is my favorite. My baby occasionally makes a mess when I’m changing her diapers, and the slick material of the cover makes it easy for me to clean it! Other changing pad covers I have to throw in the wash constantly, cause they absorb everything. So this cover makes cleanup easy

Prior to purchasing this one I had used all cloth changing pads which became a daily or multiple time a day washing challenge. The fact this is wipeable has allowed me to use it several days in a row without needing to wash it in the washing machine. Great to not need to do it during those 3 am changes. The center of this cover is smooth and wipeable, making easy to clean up messes. This allows you to keep the pad clean longer between machine washing. I had a hard time finding any covers similar to this one. The only thing I didn't like was that there were no holes to thread a safety strap through. The cover and safety strap still work fine though.

This changing pad is so superior it makes me question why they even make cloth ones. Put 2 of these on your registry now! It wipes clean instead of needing washed every time baby poops, pees or throws up on it.
