If you’re curvy this skirt will not fit. As a latina I was struggling to get this on over my thighs. I sized up so I could try it on but then the top part wouldn’t fit correctly around my waist it’s all straight like a column. This is a very pretty skirt but for the price it’s not worth to take to the tailor. The proportion of the skirt is for someone very skinny who has no curves at all as it was suuuuper loose around the waist when sizing up. Would have been better to have an elastic waist or a longer zipper!

I typically buy a M sometimes a L if it runs big. I ordered a M and it is very big and falls off. Size down!

Great material. This skirt is not curve friendly . Not for anyone who has hips.

Beautiful skirt! I’m 5’10” so the length is great on me. The only thing I had to have altered on the skirt is additional darts added to the yoke of the skirt because it was not conforming to my apron (apple shape tummy). Aside from that it is perfect. Love the flow of the skirt when walking. Considering getting the other color too.

Sizing is a little off. I could have sized down a couple sizes probably.

The navy skirt is gorgeous! Beautiful pleating and surprisingly good quality for the price. The color is deep and rich looking. Like other reviews have said, waist fits well but the zipper opening is so short that you really struggle to get it up over your hips! I’m slender but the way this sits over my stomach, it makes me look like I’m about 20 weeks pregnant! It was also tough to find a top to wear with it. I tried tucking in a thin turtleneck sweater but it was visible under the fabric. This is prob best with a cropped top or a thin, silky blouse. So sad to return, it’s such a pretty skirt, but didn’t work for me.

The quality of this skirt is really lacking. The drop waist makes it pretty difficult to get over your hips if you are a curvy woman. Because of this, sizing up is required, but then makes the fit of the skirt too big on your natural waist. The feel of the fabric also feels really cheap. Returned.

Poor fabric choice. A fabric with some stretch & a little more weight would have helped this too fit better and drape more nicely. Love the pattern and dont even mind the drop waist. I’m a medium throughout and the waist was too big.

I wanted to love this skirt, as the drop waist makes for an interesting fit and the fabric design is lovely. However, mine had some major design flaws, as the drop waist and pleats are sewn together unevenly, there were many stray threads along the top seam, and, most egregiously, the zipper is sewn together in the middle! Luckily I’m able to get it on even with the zipper sewn together half-way down as I really like this skirt and don’t want to go through the hassle of returning and rebuying as my local Targets don’t carry the Future Collective line. I think it probably depends on the individual skirt as far as potential construction mistakes so buyer beware if you’re not able to purchase in-store

I can’t decide if this skirt fits me correctly. It sits at my waist but rides up after I move around in it or dips down so the front is longer. The pleating is beautiful and I don’t find it to be sheer. I’m truly undecided if I will keep it and contemplating if I should size up. A little stretch in the waist band would have made for a better fit.

This skirt is so cute! You can glam it up or dress it down with a jean jacket. The pleats move with you. I dropped it one star because it is a little big. I normally wear a 2X, and had to return it for a 1X. But it's a must!

Plus size friendly ….no stretch in waist but it fits beautifully if you get your correct size!!

I was so looking forward to these skirts! I ordered both colors but the sizing is completely off and the fit is not great. The waist looks very awkward. I ordered a S and it fit on the waist but I couldn't put it on through my hips? Strange. Quality is realky good and it would have SO much potential it it didn't have that weird waist top.

Has a tailored feel with the waist and darted seams. Nice pattern that will look good dressed up or down. Good for Fall and Spring. I had to size down one.

The black and white version is beautiful, but sheer. Would have to wear a slip underneath so I returned.
