I love this dress. It is 100% cotton. I am 5ft 5.5in and I love the length. I wish their were more colors.

Even though the top is smocked, the top hem line is way way too small and has no stretch. Can hardly get it on or move. Such a bummer since it fits fine everywhere else and is such a cute dress. Will have to return as its unwearable.

I got the dress because I like the color and because it's cotton it fits nicely and I'm happy with the quality.

Although the torso is shirred, the hem at the top isn’t so that part doesn’t stretch at all! Definitely size up. I’m usually a small and I could barely get it on. When it’s on, my armpit fat bulges out because it’s so tight. It’s very cute but just not practical if it doesn’t fit. They should’ve made the hemline stretchy somehow.

I love this style, look a like the American Eagle dress but for less.

In the store, I took the 1x and 2x to the dressing room with me. The 1x seemed slightly smaller than 2x when I started to try it on, so I switched to a 2x. I got it on and zipped and it was flattering but it was slightly too tight, and felt restrictive. It was clear I needed one size up in this style. They didn't have 3x in stock so I ordered it. Not thinking anything of it, (one size up should have been ideal with some leeway if it skewed a bit small or large) I tossed it in to wash so I would have it ready to go. I tried it on and it is HUGE. I double checked the tag again, thinking there had been a mistake. Definitely 3x but it's so big it literally just falls off if the straps slide. It's so big that I can't have it altered, it would need to be completely remade into a new dress. I can't return it now, so it's just expensive scrap fabric and a lesson. Stay clear of the 3x size and definitely try on your items before washing.

This is a very trendy dress with the smocked detailing and drop waist. I found the chest part to run small - I am usually a small and this is a size medium (5'4 115lbs 27 inch waist.) The avocado green is different than what I usually go for (which is a good thing!) it is a nice color but I wish it also came in a black, pink, or brown. It is a cute, simple, and comfortable dress and would recommend it!
