Heavier denim than I’ve purchased before from this brand. No stretch at the waist. I’m 5’2 and about 138 lbs. Ordered my normal size 10 and they fit great- but much, much too long and they do have a definite flare to them. Will be returning.

Universal Thread is an economical brand with a perfect fit! These jeans fit better than expensive brands! No gap in the waist, they hug your body perfectly and are comfortable! Use their size chart along with your actual measurements to find the perfect fit for you!

Finally no waist gap in the back! These are fitted for more of a pear shape. They’re a little larger in the hips/ thighs & smaller at the waist. Made for curves & eliminate the back gap. High waist, hitting at about the belly button. Length is good, not too long. I’m about 5’5” and these are just slightly long but good with normal shoes / sneakers. Bootcut is great without being huge. I find them true to size. Loving these jeans!

I recently lost weight and was trying a smaller size than I normally wear. The waist and lengths fit beautifully, but the crotch was the most bizarre fit I've ever seen--the length was fine, but the front portion width left so much baggy material that it looked like I could use it for storage. None of my other pants fit this dramatically disproporionately, this was definitely something wrong with how these pants were updated from their smaller sized fit-model. The rear fit just fine, too, just the front of the crotch area was extra-roomy.
