Women's Hooded Rain Coat - A New Day™

Perfect rain coat! It’s long, light, and waterproof! It’s not very warm but I didn’t need it to be! Glad I purchased.

I love the design of the coat but I can only wear it when it look like it'll rain but not in the actual rain because, well the hood isn't large enough to fit over my head, or my 14 year old heads. it falls right every single time.. so good coat to wear on wet, gloomy days but NEVER RAINY DAYS!

Runs large. Had to exchange for smaller size . Nice color. Perfect for light rain

Waste of money. It’s huge and the hood blows off while you’re walking

This is definitely a must in your closet. So happy I was able to purchase a lightweight rain jacket of high quality. This will be a staple in my closet for springtime.

Is a LOT bigger than expected. The hood has no cord or anything to keep it from blowing off in the wind.

Great style for the price. This has way more features ( multiple zippers, pockets, hood etc) than most jackets that look similar but cost WAY more. This looks as good as the others. I don’t expect it to be rainproof. I’ve learned the hard way, that “rain resistant “ and other phrases mean, you will get wet!

I love that this coat is long and has a hood! It is lightweight so not used for warmth but keeps me dry! I ordered a size up for when it is chilly to layer underneath and that has worked great. But it is not so big that it feels bulky when its not chilly. I also like that is has sleeve cuffs, they are not tight but keep it in place when I need to push the sleeves back.

Great fit and the jacket is super cute. I can wear with a hoodie for the not so cold days or alone for the warmer days.

I returned as the color is not as nice IRL as it is in pictures. the fit was great I just wish I would have purchased in blk before it sold out

wind can blow hood off and head will get soaked, in need of adjustable string, how hard is it who designed those type of rain jackets what kind of a designer? I am size medium and got size medium and it looks like a bag of potatoes, if you want to look super fat when you're not then go ahead and get this one. All sides are crooked, not even.

I'm usually a 2x and got a 4x because I wanted this rain jacket to be able to go over a coat or lots of layers without issue. that being said I don't think it isn't true to size necessarily. just saying I'm usually a 20/22 and sized up and since the waist can be cinched it still looks great. get tons of compliments on it

Reminds me of a pricier jacket by high-end athletic/fashion retailer. For my purpose this will do fine for less $. Love the color - lavender! Love the split zipper & lightweight fabric. I think the draw cord is a bit high waisted. It’s barely okay on my 5’6” frame. I tried on 2 size L and waist was at different level in each jacket. I bought the one where it was slightly lower & more comfortable. I think it’s odd there’s no draw cord for hood. Note it is “weather resistant” that does not mean waterproof. I bought for windy days. It will work well for that purpose.

Bought this online without seeing it in store and it's a decent jacket for the cost. Zipper doesn't work well and snags every time I use it which is annoying. Fit is decent. It's water resistant so it won't keep you dry if you stand out in the rain but it doesn't soak up water instantly.

The jacket seems fine - Is VERY oversized and large and maybe a bit long? Like in a bit weird way but I’m taking along, third try was the charm, size wise. Light weight with hood for light rainy weather when traveling.

The raincoat is not as advertised.

Pros: Lightweight & easy to pack! I really liked the style and also the longer length. I wore it for 3 days at Disney and it rained the when time. I stayed warm and dry and was able to wear plenty of layers underneath. I also really Like the large pockets and that you can cinch the waist. Cons: Like others have mentioned the hood doesn't really stay on, especially if it's windy and it's kind of pricey for what it is.

I am 5'7 and 175 lbs for size reference. I purchased a large. The jacket comes to my knees, but the sleeves are way too short. There is plenty of room in the jacket. It's loose fitting, but the sleeves are very tight. This is a con if you are layering with a sweatshirt or sweater. The two big pockets at the bottom are nice, and located perfectly for your hands, but they do not have zippers; the pockets above them, do, however, BUT, the top pockets are located at the chest area and are pretty much useless! The hood is too small as well, and does not cover my head all the way, which would allow your hair to get wet. There is no band to tie the hood tighter to help with this. There is one band around the waist, if needed. If I were to describe the sizing I would say, "too big and too small at the same time". The measurements just aren't proportionate. If you are short it might work, but it would be extremely long.
