Women's Lace Midi Skirt - Future Collective Black

I ordered the 4X because of my hips. The skirt was perfect for my hips but was waaaay too big in the waist. But it’s not a problem because I put an elastic waist band on it and it solved the problem. This is a good quality item for the price. It’s not a scratchy lace and length is good for my 5’9” frame. It seems to be cut for someone with a straighter figure, so beware if you have a lot of definition between your waist and hip size. But I still give it 5 stars. It’s a piece that you will wear for many seasons.

Love the design of this skirt but it runs way too big. I’m usually a L/XL (12/14) and both of those sizes are too big. I had to return both for a medium so it’s really oversized. Hopefully that fits. The skirt itself is pretty. The lace is nice and it sits at a nice length even though I’m short.

I love this skirt - it fits well and is super fun. I think I may remove the underlining slip and wear with a pair of full coverage undies for the 'no pants' trend. It's got a little strech and seems to be great quality. I'm excited to wear it this fall.

So pretty and comfortable to wear. Perfect for date night or girls night out. So flattering on a postpartum body, too.

Whatever your size, this skirt is one of those must-buys for the price, the lace fabric is high quality, the workmanship (zipper installation, waist) is well done and the cut is flattering, not too tight (I carry some weight in the thighs and it was still not too tight, pant size 20 - I bought 2x). The issue, as others have said, is the lining. Fashion design major here, and IMO the fabric choice for the lining is not right, it grips the lace or visa-versa and sticks - riding up. Even with that, it's still one of those things we don't see a lot in our size range. I plan to cut out all the lining, around the zipper and under the waist stitching, and use another under slip in a satin, thinking a slip dress where the top of the dress acts as the top (anyone can cut the lining out, it's simple and the dress can be found inexpensively - Target has one, Amazon for sure has one). I actually bought two skirts I love the lace fabric so much. I'm thinking the second one I will make a matching top of some sort. Good luck, xo

Love the fabric and cut of this skirt! I wear a size 20 in most Target bottoms, I got this skirt in a 1X because I saw slip was polyester and thought it might not have stretch but it does. Could size down, but I like the comfort. I am 5’6, slip fits at mid thigh but lace is so intricate and textured that you can not see any scars, cellulite, veins, etc. LOL Im gonna wear it with a black crewneck button up cardigan and silver sambas. This is the only piece I kept from this collection.

Great design, and good stretch. I just wish it was a true black. Fabric appeared faded.

Had to size down. It’s thick middle friendly! I felt sexy and didn’t want to take it off I didn’t have it in long enough to notice any issues with the lining but I’m willing to tack it down on the seems. This is an affordable versatile staple piece that I will have a lifetime! I wish it came in metallic gold or silver!

Had high hopes for this one but I didn’t love the quality for the price point. Size fit well but it felt bulky.

Gorgeous skirt but it’s runs big! Almost by a whole size so I’m returning my size large for a medium. It’s stretchy too. For reference I’m 5’7 and 170 lbs

The slip and the lace aren't secured well, so it rides and bunches up in an unflattering way.
