How to measure

  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

Looking at the photo, I realized I wanted something a lot more flowy. So I decided to size up by two sizes especially since it has a drawstring. After the small adjustment, I could have asked for anything more in a skirt. Fabric somewhere between cotton and rayon.

Great but a littke small.

I think the cream and black floral is very pretty. It’s significantly smaller than I thought it would be. The elastic is tight. I’m between two sizes. My smaller size was too tight so I order the next size up and it should work. Very flowy. Reminds me of Madewell skirts that I love so much.

Black Tiered skirt for women

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a black tiered skirt from A New Day. I am wearing a size medium as a 5 foot 4 female about 150 pounds. This skirt was hard for me to style and appear the way I like. The skirt has pockets as you can see and a tie in the front to make it fit the way you desire as loose or tight as needed. I would say to try this you might like it - it’s just not for me.

76yrs old has been buying this style forever

I have many times bought this style of tiered black skirt in my lifetime starting back in the 1970's on up. One thing I personally notice is that I am full in the hips and when I wear this particular style I go DOWN in size because the more fabrice around the hip tummy area the heavier I tend to look so at 196lbs I bought the XL and it fits perfect. Too much fabric in this style does not do it justice. Also, I tend to wear tops that are fitted over my hip area with it so that the skirt starts showing from below my hips, that is also a better look being heavier. I love the drawstring, you can use it or not use it, and the pockets whichs do not add bulk, the length is a true maxi. You can wear it at your waist or push it down below your belly button and have it start there as well (though at my age I do not show my belly button lol). This is a pretty descent boho tiered skirt and I would tell anyone to go for it if they are on line thinking about it. Fabric in black is not see thru, kind of feels like cotton but less wrinkles.

Comfortable fit and versatile

The style is roomy and the drawstring waist is very forgiving, so I could see this skirt carrying someone through many phases of life. It does not have pockets which is a downside. It is very versatile and lightweight and flowy for warmer weather!
