From work to business lunches to romantic dinners out, this Bi-Stretch Twill Pencil Skirt will help you achieve a variety of looks all through the year. This skirt comes in a fitted style that hugs your figure for a flattering fit, with a stretchy material that moves with you to keep you comfortable. For a look suited for work, pair the skirt with your favorite blouses and classic pumps; then glam it up a bit by adding tights and an off-the-shoulder shirt when you're out on the town.
Way. Too. Big. I ordered the smallest size & it was inches too long & too big. Photo shouldn't show a size 4 on a 5' 9" model. Vanity sizing makes it impossible for smaller women to get clothing to fit. This skirt is attractive & seemed well made - lined, nice fabric, cute back pleat. (All which make alterations complicated, too.) If it had fit, I'd likely give it a 5, instead, rating it a 3 & taking it back.
As someone who works in a professional office, I am always in need a well constructed office basics. This skirt hits all the right boxes. It's formal, a great shape, nice material, and hits just above the knee--which means it cuts a fine figure AND is still appropriate for work. As someone who likes chocolate and bread I am between sizes and ordered up. It fits beautifully at the waist (getting real Peg Carter vibes), but for a piece that is titled called bi-stretch there isn't much give--I guess there's going to be no bend and snaps for me!
Love the color and the length. Perfect for work, date night or church. Love that it's lined so it doesn't bunch up. I sized up and ordered an 8 since it read a few reviews that said it ran small. The size was just right with a little room around the waist since I didn't want it snug. (I'm 5'6 135 lbs but curvy in the hips)
This skirt was far smaller/tighter than its size should have been. Also it is advertised as “stretchy”. This is not the case. I have the skirt in my closet waiting for my “goal weight”. Too bad, as I really wanted to wear it right away and they didn’t have a size up for me to exchange it to.
This is a beautifully made skirt. I ordered Khaki which is an attractive beige - not too light or dark; the color will work with almost every top in my wardrobe. Fabric has some stretch which will make walking and sitting down comfortable. There's also a back kick pleat. I like the pencil shape, however, the size 8 (my normal skirt size) is just a bit too tight. Perhaps a younger woman would find the fit more to their liking. Because this skirt has so many positives I ordered a size 10 which should give me a bit more room around the waist and hips. All things considered, including a bargain price, Target has a winner here.
