This boot IS NOT made the same as the Xtratuff boot I’ve been wearing daily for work for many years. It’s not as comfortable and doesn’t fit the same.

Falling apart after a mere 9 months

Juneau resident here (5'8" 170 lbs) - I love my Tufs and wear them a bit (I probably wear them a total of 15-20 hours a week). The front part of the boot is beginning to wear through and I won't be able to get a second winter out of these boots because Juneau is far too wet to have boots that have holes in them. I noticed wear spots at 9 months in and now at 11 months, they're heading to the trash. Not only are the holes wearing through around the front of the boot, but also, the inside has essentially collapsed. Foot bed is basically disintegrating and inside the boot, the sole feels like it is breaking down on the inside. The tread outside is still good, so that's a plus. I told a friend about this the other day and she showed me her older Xtratufs ("Made in US" branding on the outside), and although over a decade of use, they are far more intact that my new boots.For the price, I'd expect them to not start to fall apart less than a year in. My feet so far have stayed dry and the tread is the best for wet conditions which is why I'm giving two stars. Losing three stars for literally falling apart in such a short amount of time.

I needed a tall boot for riding the ATV in Alaska backcountry. These boots are high quality and are a perfect fit. They are easy to walk in and I don’t feel like I am clomping in them. The lining is cool and a fun look to wear them cuffed.

Thinner than Men's classic brown. Hard to fold over. Base is thinner too! Had to wear extra think socks. Only getting Men's Classic now.

I have purchased between 8-10 pair of xtratufs and every single pair leaked within 6 months. They will warranty them after jumping through hoops but it still is aggravating to deal with. Couple pair didn’t last a month before cracking or the whole sole fell out. Anyone who wears these as work boots, I hope you like wet feet

Height is perfect! Bought end of October 2021. LOVE these! but scuffing is intense for a rugged boot. Took 4 years to scuff my MUCK boots. And inside peeling away a little.
