Women's Cable Lurex Cardigan - Universal Thread™

I LOVE the pink shade, it’s sparkly and warm. A bit itchy and I have sensitive skin, but this isn’t bad so I can actually wear it! I typically wear L or xL to keep things oversized and comfy… but I went with a small in this. The xs was a bit more “boxy” looking so I stayed with the small. I ended up with both the pink and the grey cuz how can you not? I have some wisdom in my “core” and bc this is a thick knit, it tends to add to the “fluff” which is why I gave it 4 stars, it’s not exactly flattering, but I do still like it. As a cardigan it’s not going to match everything but it’ll be an easy way to dress up my outfit.

This sweater is so pretty, sparkly, and festive. It’s a little heavier, thick knit, and a normal cardigan fit. Sadly, the material is way too itchy because of the silver threads throughout, and I am very sensitive to itchy fabrics.

This is a cute sweater. It sparkles more than the photos show. However, it is quite heavy and chunky. To warm for me to use in Florida. Unfortunately , it was returned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cardigan sweater in size XS fits true to size. It hits to just about at the hips and just moderately loose fitting. The material was pretty thick and warm. The downside for me was with just a tank underneath, it felt pretty itchy so just noting for those with sensitive skin or find acrylic uncomfortable. Apart from that, it’s a nice casual look to pair with jeans and over a tank or lightweight shirt. For reference I’m 5’4” and measure at 32-28-38. I received an incentive to write this review.

Love this sweater when I saw it in stores! Had to purchase. I’m 5’2, 133lbs for reference. Small is oversized might be exchanging for an xs.

I absolutely love this sweater! Yes, it has a bit of sparkle…it’s one of the main reasons I bought it! I would consider this “oversized” but not by much like some others are saying. If you like a looser fit get your normal size, if you want it to hug you a bit more go one size down (I did). If you have sensitive skin, the sweater did have a slight itchiness to it but nothing that drove me crazy. I think this is a pretty sweater that will bring some sparkle to your holiday season.

It us very heavy so I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but it was a nice, soft, good feeling fit. The design features a pretty shimmer to the material to dewar any outfit up. I also did not feel like it was very flattering. The boxy fit and it hits in a weird place. Maybe the small would’ve fit better, but my normal size is a medium and this just felt very large for a medium. I received an incentive to write this review.

It's a very cute sweater but its so itchy. It is also runs big. I normally wear a Large and had to get this sweater in a small.

I bought (in store) the pink (and metalic silver) sweater. I loved the silver look, however the images do not show this. It is a cute sweater for holidays. HOWEVER, I am 5'9" 133 lbs and the XS that I purchased is still quite large on me. If the Universal Thread label is now a "Plus" line, Target needs to indicate as such. (aka: all of the models are overweight?) Time to resize accordingly.

I love this cardigan so much, I am so happy I got it! I knew it was metallic (lurex), and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I’m a size small, sometimes a medium, and got this in medium. It is oversized, but it doesn’t look bad at all. Super comfy and cozy. It does itch slightly, but not too bad, at least for me. So happy with this purchase!

However the material had lots of Metallic in it. The pictures on the site do not represent that. I felt like the sweater was oversized. I would consider sizing down if purchasing it. Ordered a size S for a gift and it could easily fit someone XL, its beyond oversized honestly and is just too big all around. It's also very very glittery/shiny and none of the photos show that. The pink sweater is more of a dusty pink than the soft baby pink that is shown online and it's woven with very shiny metallic silver threads through the whole thing. It's less office casual and more holiday party. It is very soft and thick though, and I honestly can't say its bad quality- the photos online just aren't represenative of the product at all. I would definitely size down 1-2 sizes depending on the fit you want.

I ordered this thinking it’ll be a cute pink sweater, however it has silver metallic little linings in them. the sweater is scratchy, not a big fan of it. & the sweater does run super big

I purchased the pink sweater and it has silver metallic fibers as well which is hard to see in the online picture. The fabric is on the rougher texture and not soft as I would have liked. I’m afraid this might itch if worn under a basic tank top. Runs big, where I normally wear a Medium or Large, I had to get a size Small in this.
