I bought these shoes for work. I wanted something that would be comfortable and waterproof. The first day of wearing these I ended up with horrible Bruising all the way around my ankle. And in some places they literally took the skin off. They were so uncomfortable. They are not meant for walking. They are super cute but definitely not worth the horrible pain!
I own these boots in black and olive, and I plan to get more - they're the perfect mix of form and function. Mine have held up really well, they are comfortable, and I love that they come in a 6W, which is a difficult size to find! (Wide shoes often start at 7.) Overall, a definite thumbs up from me, especially given that these are 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of similar boots. I've found that they run a bit big - I'm nearly always a 6 or 6.5 and I probably could have taken a 5.5 in these, had it been available, though the 6 is definitely workable, and the 5 was too small.
I have been wearing these rain boots almost everyday for the past month. It has been raining like crazy in Alabama, and these boots have saved my feet. I have sometimes worn them all day. They are super comfortable, despite the fact that I have high arches. I have very thin feet and ankles, and these boots don't rub or pinch. I've worn them with all different types of socks, even no show sneaker socks, and they aren't uncomfortable. I've driven in them, gone grocery shopping in them, and worn them while moving furniture. They're still in perfect shape. I just rinse them off in the sink when they get too muddy.
These do function as rain boots, and they are cute, but they are very cheap. The soles are extremely thin, I needed to add inserts to wear them comfortably. The treads on the bottom wore off within a few months, even though the rest of the shoe is in pretty good shape. But if there is no tread, wearing them on wet ground is not a good idea.
I love these rain booties! They are comfortable and sleek and not too tight around my leg which is nice for tucking in jeans and/or your leggings. Of course I wear socks with these and the booties keep my feet warm and dry without overheating!
