I love these!! I have Tieks and Tory Burch flats and these are honestly more comfortable to me. Great shoe at this price point. They did not require any breaking in. I really like the cognac color and plan to get more!
I absolutely love these shoes! They are comfortable, a great price and look really cute. I already had two pair: tan and black. I would buy more in other colors if they had them available in my size. i recommend them.
Really disappointed that they "improved" this show over the old merona flat. I wore the merona flats almost exclusively for years and never had any issues. Then they replaced that model with this Universal Thread version. It initially looked like it was built better, but the way that they changed the sole has given me problems in my feet. The insole kind of bunches up and the foam or whatever they put in there is destroying my gait. Sizing is a tad smaller too. I used to wear these shoes until they wore through the soles, and now I have to look for another brand.
When I initially wore my pair of cheetah print round toe flats, I would have agreed with all the reviews that they are too tight at the toes. I gave it an extra day walking around the house and found they do stretch. The elastic and curve up in the soles is what makes them so unbearable in the beginning but they do eventually conform to your feet and are true to size. So if you are willing to go through the somewhat painful process of breaking them in, you may find they are comfortable. See pics. I should say I have narrow feet, which helps in this case. I generally have a hard time with flats since they slip off my feet
I wear a size 8, but ordered an 8.5 because these scrunched up shoes generally run small (as I've ordered similar shoes in an 8.5 and they fit fine). This shoe was still too small, and the material was not comfortable. I don't respect shoe brands that don't have consistent shoe sizing.
I love these shoes! They fit my feet perfectly, (I wanted to say like a glove but that didn't work). I wear an 8 Wide & that is what I ordered. For me they are true to size. I have these flats in black, cream & cognac. I also have a pair in a striped pattern & I believe it was the same item #, although they have changed the brand name to their newer in-store (U.T.). I have searched for years for the perfect ballet flat & this is as close as I can find to perfect, (although I wouldn't mind if they had some comfort padding). As far as the value goes, I can't find anything that comes close. I have purchased & returned dozens of pairs that were much more $$ that didn't work for me. These just work! They don't squish my toes, yet don't flop off my feet when I walk. I would love to have these ballet flats in more colors, such as an olive, a navy & also a pale blue. I really hope that they bring these back in more colors in the fall, either in the smooth or in the micro suede. (I was unable to grab all of the colors I wanted before my size sold out). It would be heavenly if they made these in real leather! I would absolutely pay more for these in real leather/suede!
