Q: Hi, is there 4 way stretch in these shorts?

A: Yes, I feel certain they are even though I’m just a satisfied customer and do not work for any company representing or making them. They have spandex in them, which provides great stretch for me without losing their shape. I don’t ever dry mine in the dryer though. I like to wash them on my delicate cycle with a touch of liquid fabric softener in my wash, and then hang them under my ceiling fan to dry. For me, they are great shorts to do most any exercise in!

Q: No photo shows the waistband. Is the elastic covered by the fabric? I do not want uncovered elastic rubbing against my skin. Please have models tuck in shirts to show waistband. thanks.

I was hoping for something with a softer feel, and the fit also is just okay. I bought a size medium (i'm usually a size8... 29 or 30 jeans size) in the camo color/pattern, and it does fit but seems to run small. If i'd buy it again i'd choose a size Large, altho that might be longer than i'd want them to be. I'm keeping them but give only 3 stars.

These are the best bike shorts for my purposes that I have ever found, and I have tried a lot of them. I am a size 4X, and I wear them as underwear under skirts and dresses and tunics. I wear them around the house and out daily. They are my summer uniform. While these are not the most substantial, they're extremely soft and stretchy, and the most comfortable ever. And what a great price! I came here today to buy a bunch more, and they're all sold out, sad face (lol). I will check back!

These have very little stretch and I think the size chart is off. I bought a small and I can fit it but the medium would have been or comfortable around the thigh. I had to stretch out/bust the leg stitching to make it not cut off circulation for my thigh. I’m kind of on the fence about whether I’d recommend or even buy again.
