Last season I bought two different styles of Target brand mid rise jeans shorts and while I like them I prefer high rise. I liked the color and fit of these after trying them on… but upon going out for a full night of dance they road up too much and gave me a wedgie most of the night, not cute anymore.

I thought these were the same style shorts as they sold last year but unfortunately they are not. I liked the fit and denim so much better in last years version. They look very similar but they are just not as good as my ones that I lived in last summer. Very disappointed!

I like the length and stretchiness of these shorts and they are pretty comfortable when you aren't moving. However, once you start walking, the thin fabric of these shorts rides up really bad. I wouldn't wear these somewhere I knew I would have to walk around a lot.

MY FAVORITE JEANS! They are so cute, flattering and comfortable. I got a size up because I knew once I washed them, they might shrink a little. Only thing to be aware of is that the dye of the Jean may stain when it’s new so make sure to wash them before wear

I bought the dark wash and they fit well but like some other reviews say you can see skin through the distressed parts, not ideal when you have dogs haha. The fit was good they are similarly sized to the Denizen. I am concerned about the fraying on bottom of leg and longevity of these so I’ll probably exchange for another color without the distressed details.

Super soft & stretchy. Personally I was between a 2 and 4, which I usually am but I noticed the size 2 were significantly shorter in length even though they fit better in the waist. I went with the 4 assuming they may shrink a bit + I can always wear a belt. I preferred the length of the size 4 as well.

I loved these, until I washed them before wearing. All the threads on the bottom of the legs came out and were all tangled up and ripped. They need to be "hemmed" before washing by just stiching with a sewing machine. Once they are washed, I don't know how well that will work. I returned them. Thank goodness Target is good about returning items when you are not happy with them. Sad to have to return them though!

Good denim shorts are so hard to find. I Like another reviewer, I’d been searching high and low and was so discouraged. I’m a mom, size 8, long torso - and I love these! They are not too high of a rise, but def not too low. Super stretchy and comfy.
