Women's High-Rise Straight Leg Jeans - Ava & Viv™

First wear, left side next to the pocket rips… I go pay to get it fixed… next wear the right side next to the other back pocket rips and the jeans were not even right. DO NOT REC unless you want your butt cheeks out in public

Ava & Viv jeans are my favorite! This style fits true to size & is truly high-waisted. The medium color is a nice blue, and it’s a regular wash. They aren’t too stretchy and they are very soft.

I love these pants! They run small though so you do have to size up considerably because the fabric doesn’t stretch. The thing I like about them is they don’t leave a gap above the butt.

I bought two pairs and both have ripped by the pocket seams in less than 2 months

Bought these thinking they were like the ones from last year. They fit two sizes smaller than every other pair of pants I’ve bought in this brand. They’re all washed out too, which the pictures don’t show. The sizing is an issue with all of Target’s clothing now. Makes me not want to buy from them anymore.

Way too small. Put them on top of last year’s same model and they’re atleast 2 inches smaller in the waist and legs

I loved these jeans, because of the thickness and weight of the material. They reminded me of how jeans used to be before everyone went to cheaper materials to make jeans. If you wanted a thinner material you wore them out over five to ten years of rugged wear and tear to soften the material. My only complaint was the seam ripped out of the seat and severely frayed. Not a good start for the morning.

PLEASE bring back the old style. I read another review saying the same thing. These aren’t stretchy and are fitting much different. It is definitely smaller. I lost weight since they brought this style back and needed a bigger size.

I love all Ava and viv jeans! They fit just right on my stomach. This style is out of my comfort zone but I think they fit comfortably for sure.

So disappointed in these - PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD STYLE. These run really small and have no stretch despite the tags claiming they do. I purchased these at the same time I got the high rise flare Ava & Viv jeans, both in an 18 but these are so much smaller. The flares are roomy while these are too small. I have the older version of these jeans and loved them, but these are horrible. Fabric was not comfy or soft at all, feels pretty stiff and almost itchy. Returned.

I love how great quality they are, but seriously targets jeans are not stretchy for chunky or curvy moms who are active- definitely recommend sizing up at least one size!

I really like these jeans. I purchased my first pair in store and bought the lighter pair online because they were out of my size in store. I would say they do run small. I usually wear a size 14. These fit my waist and butt perfectly. Love the fit but I would size up. Happy with this purchase.

They are not cut for plus size. They have an awkward fit in the waist with no stretch and do not come up high enough in the back. And they don't work if you try to go for an oversize fit, because the length is too short. Entire fit of these needs an overhaul

These jeans smell absolutely terrible when I purchased I thought maybe it was just a previous try on, or maybe the area just smelled in the store. WRONG. After washing them they still smelled like bad breath! I looked it up and apparently it’s the dye and tried to soak in vinegar but it absolutely did not work..I still can’t get the smell out of my mind whenever I shop for jeans. I’ve even gone to other targets to see if it was just an issue at one and it wasn’t. Stay away

Purchased size 18. The fit was okay but it was a bit tight. I wanted to get the next size up to be more comfortable so I purchased a size 20. I tried on the 20 and they fit exactly like the 18. I compared both pairs and they are the exact same size side by side, measurements and all. I am extremely disappointed as I really wanted to purchase every color of this style of jeans and now I’m terrified they will all be sized/made incorrectly. Absolutely ridiculous.

WHYYYYY did they change the sizing. omg. i used to be their smallest size 14 before they got rid of it. i needed a new pair so i got a size 16 because that's their smallest size now. tell me why the new size 16 is smaller than the old size 14?? like HUH? i'm so sad! these used to be my fav jeans. they're not stretchy in the waist at all. ava & viv whyyyyy. the quality is similar to the jeans you'd get on shein. NOT worth the $35:(((

I used to love these jeans. They came in size 14 previously. Both size 14 and 16 in the earlier product worked well (I like them comfy). I tried these current items. AWFUL! In size 16 they are so tight through the hips, hard to zip, with waist gap in the back, and tight in the thighs. New fabric is terrible quality, white blotches on the darker wash. They fit awkwardly, like the fabric was at an odd angle when cut out, not soft. Low quality and uncomfortable. Bring back the original! Ava and Viv is losing a customer here. Too bad. I loved the original jeans. FYI 5’4”, age 65, weight 175, baby got back and thighs.

Love the fit of these! I have two pairs in different washes and they are my go to’s! They’re quite comfortable and I love the high rise of them! For reference, I’m 5’9, 235lbs and am wearing a size 17. :)

I’m so happy with these jeans ! Sizing is right, fabric doesn’t itch, color is good. First time I’ve been able to comfortably wear jeans in years .

These jeans are awful. The hip and thighs are too tight and the waist gap is HUGE. If I could give less than one star, I would. I will sincerely miss the old fit.
