A: I bought the light/cream colored one and they DEFINITELY need to be ironed or else you're wearing a wrinkly mess.

A: Hello – Thanks for asking about the Women’s jeans by Universal Thread. These jeans will shrink a minimal amount if you follow the care instructions (Machine Wash & Tumble Dry). If you’re concerned about shrinkage, we recommend hanging or lying flat to dry. These jeans might wrinkle a bit, but it should also be minimal. You can iron them if you like a crisper look. Q: what is the rise in inches in size 12 and 14 regular? Does size TALL have higher rise in inches ???

A: Hello Judith – Thanks for asking us about the Women’s high-rise wide leg jeans by Universal Thread. The front rise length on the size 12 is 12.25” and on the size 14 it’s 12.5”. For this style we offer long length inseams (not Tall sizing). Which means only the inseam length is longer, not the rise. We hope this helps find the size that’s just right for you. – Terry

The jeans felt comfortable and have a bit of stretch which was nice. But they run very big. For reference I am 113 pounds and 5’2. I ordered a size 0 Short. The waist was a good fit but the legs were extremely wide, that extra EXTRA over sized look- overall the jeans look a bit frumpy on IMO. Also the length was still too long for me by about 2-3 inches to wear with sneakers/flats. I’d need to get these hemmed for my height or else wear with heels. Will be returning.

I get all the compliments in these jeans. As a shorter and curvier woman, it’s tough to find jeans that fit at the waist, flatter my tummy, and make my booty look good. But these jeans do all of that!! They did shrink up a bit as I washed/dried them, almost an inch shorter. Love that they are a fair trade option!

I’ve been wanting a pair of wide leg jeans but hadn’t been able to find the right pair. I listened to the reviews that said size down two sizes and I think it worked! I am usually a size 4 regular. I’m 5’2” and around 108lbs. I went with the size 0 short. The length was a bit too long out of the package but pretty perfect after washing and drying.

These would be cute if the sizing wasn't weird. The pair I got was too small despite other reviews saying they run big. Also I am 5'10" and they were too short, even though the inseam seemed fine. Maybe I'd they weren't too small they would have been long enough. I could button them, but the rise was too small and they just looked really dumb. Returning immediately.

I bought six pairs in my size in both the regular and long length. Two each of the light, two each of the medium, and two each of the dark. Well, out of SIX pairs, TWO fit like they should have. One was absolutely huge on me - to the point I could remove them without unbuttoning (That's just a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen!), one was too small, and two were at least one size too big. I like this brand and have purchased from them a lot in the past, but this is ridiculous! The long ones seemed to be the most consistent correct sizing so I may reorder the longs in every color and just hem them to get what I want. But that shouldn't be necessary! I wouldn't tell anyone not to order them because they're cute jeans when they fit - but if you do order them, good luck!

I wanted to love these, and I love the faded wash and soft material, but I couldnt even get them buttoned!! Bought my usual size, and the legs were HUGE, but waist was way too small. Way too small compared to the rest of the cut of the jean. Thought these would have a straighter cut up to the waist. Target is awesome with returns though, so no problem returning!

These jeans feel yummy and the waist and hips fit perfectly. The length for this pair runs about 32" which is 4 inches too long for me so I'll be hauling out the sewing machine and shortening them because I like them THAT much.

Unfortunately they are not curve friendly. Everything fits and looks good in these jeans except my hips - it's too tight in this one area. These offer no stretch as well so had to return.

I got a long one first and it was dragging on the floor (5’10), so I exchanged it for a regular length and they were just right. Even the normal size will cover your ankles so if you don’t like that, probably not for you.
