For the price this coat is amazing! It fits pretty true to size and is exactly what I was looking for in a transitional coat. I think its perfect for cool fall nights and with a little layering will be super toasty for the winter time! I always appreciate when people use sizing references in their reviews so I'm 5'4 and 162lbs and the medium fits perfectly. I love that you can draw in the waist and the length is perfect!
I bought this coat last year with a giftcard I had, and therefore had little to lose. It’s been my go-to coat for all cold weather since the purchase. Usually it requires a warmer layer beneath to get optimal warmth, but it’s unbeatable for the price. I also really like how long the back goes, as it certainly provides warmth to the back of my legs. I sized up to a medium because of the tightness in the shoulders. It also has a waist drawstring to help give the coat shape.
This jacket is not very flattering, especially if you are petite. I am 5'1, and the back of the jacket goes down to my calf's, it flares out from the waist giving a very wide bottom appearance- I guess I will just use this as a back up jacket, but I definitely do not feel great wearing it. I would not recommend.
I was disappointed with this order, the coat seemed really loose in the stomach area but tight in the shoulders, it ended up not being flattering. It also came shoved in a box that looked as though it had been run over by a bus.
Fits a bit odd, but it works for my needs. I bought this coat to keep me dry while sitting in the bleachers watching my kids play sports. While all other moms were freezing and soaked in the 50• rain and drizzle, I was warm and dry:) I’m 5’2” with short legs. The jacket covered my bottom and tops of my legs to knees. It has an A-line cut. Fitting at shoulders, flaring out at bottom. Not terribly flattering. Repels water with medium warmth lining. It’ll probably take me through the majority of the late fall, winter and spring in northern New England weather. The zipper and snap closures are not substantial looks lIke they’ll need to be treated with extra care to prevent breakage. The manufacturer obviously has no idea what it’s like to zip a coat with gloves on.
i bought the shorter, blue/grey ski jacket last year, loved it, and also has a really hard time deciding which style to get in the end. this year, i bought this one on the day it came out, but when i got it, it was a weird shape, too tight across the arms and unflattering at the waist. i should just go back in time and buy last year’s model.
