Welcome warm-weather days in the Lois Crossband Sandals from Universal Thread™. Made with faux-leather construction, these flat sandals are accented by wide, crisscross bands at the front and are finished off with a fabric section that wraps around the back of the heel. Slip these on for a trip to the beach or the neighborhood barbecue down the block.
Girlfriend loves these sandals, so much in fact these are the 2nd pair we've bought this summer. The first pair wore out in 3 months, but she is hard on things so we'll see how the 2nd pair fairs.
First night wearing them she got awful blisters, may want to break in gradually before wearing them out all night.
I've worn these three times so far. I really wanted to love these because they're actually comfy to walk in.
however, second time, it irritated the back of my feet, not to the extent of bleeding, but made me put bandaids on, but bandaids ended up getting rubbed off from the shoe and walking so I gave up.
then this time, i decided to put tape on the back, it felt nice at first. then i decided to go for a 20 min walk, and wearing them like flip flips, (in the sense of dragging my feet), because the tape method didn't work, I came back from the walk, with blood oozing onto the show. this only happened with the left foot. the right foot has no problem with the shoes at all.
I got hair a size bigger just in case. because I have wide feet and other reviewers suggested that due to narrowness. so, it's not quite narrow but it does rub my big toe on my left foot.
maybe my problem foot is the left however, their pretty pricey for a hit or miss depending on your feet. I wouldn't buy these again or wear them. even though customer service suggested oil. but nothing is rough on the back of the shoe.
