Women's Low-Rise Denim Midi Skirt - Wild Fable™

This skirt is so cute! I really enjoy the low rise edgy style. Sizing wise, I would say if you like a fitted look order your regular size, if not, size up for a little baggier look. It’ll probably fit lower on waist too if you size up :) I love finding matching and similar pieces at target for my daughter and I! For reference I got size 6, I’m 5’7” 165 lbs and usually wear size 6/8 and M in Wild Fable

Love the functionality of this skirt… you can dress up or down with heels or tennis shoes. Love the rough edge at the waist band and the slit. It runs a little longer (I was hoping for more of a midi-skirt, its long on me) I will be taking it in to get it hemmed because I can’t see myself returning such a great, classic denim staple skirt for my wardrobe. Zipper and hook closure. No button.

I’m 5’4” and the slit is low enough to make you shuffle a bit when walking and definitely make that shuffling sound. When I go up and down stairs I have to hold the skirt at both sides like princess peach and hike it up so that my knees can comfortably move

trying this on in the fitting room i didn't know it was supposed to be low waisted. I got my regular size 8 and wore it high waisted and thought it was perfect. It is loose fitting on my waist but snug on my hips so I wouldn't want to size down. it's also long on me, I'm 5'5, and if I wore it any lower it'd drag across the floor. I already wore it out and it's comfortable to walk in and sit.

I ordered my normal size (12) and it was a bit big, probably because it is low rise. Good quality and thickness, a great addition to my fall wardrobe.

I'm wearing this skirt at this very moment, as I sit at a counter typing at my laptop, and it is way more comfortable than any other denim bottom I own. Snug with a bit of stretch to it. For a 5'2" petite woman, this is on the longer side, but I knew that when I ordered. Looks cute with sneakers or casual slides. Front opening is not scandalous, and allows me to walk normally unlike my other denim skirt where I have to scoot a certain way to avoid tripping. The little clasp at the top was sewn on wrong, apparently got a corner of the left pocket flap attached to it... easily fixed by snipping and resewing the clasp. I got this when it was on 20% sale and that seems like the right price for me.

The skirt is soft and the denim is a bit stretchy and on the thinner side. There is a rubbery seal that is inside the waistline, which I assume is to help is stay in place on the waist. I'm 5'5" and it reaches my ankles, since I have shorter legs and a longer torso. I did notice that the faded black fits me perfect in a size 10 (regular size) but the blue denim was way too big on the waistline so I am going to exchange it for a size 8. Basically, go down a size for the blue one.

While I love a good mini skirt I've been following the trend to midis recently. I always see those tutorials online of how to turn jeans into a skirt or top so when I first saw the matching reworked tank top I had to have it. Then I saw this skirt which follows that reworked form in a skirt version and I knew I had to have it in the matching color. I've really been into skirt co-ords lately so this checks that box too. I purchased it in what I call it a dirty wash as it gives that well worn pair of work jeans vibe. The seam detail and front opening really lean into that reworked pair of jeans look as does the frayed bandless waist with a little dark denim really completes the look. The inside of the waist has a rubber strip which keeps it in place very well. That rubber strip means it is comfortable and stays put whether you wear low or high-rise. Just for fun I even pulled it all the way up, if it weren't for the fact that front opening gets a little high on me it would work as a tube dress too. I'm often between a 10 and 12, went with the 12 and am very happy with the fit. Highly recommend!

I got it in the brown. Beautiful skirt and the fit is spot on, but it does have stretch and will stretch out if you do alot of sitting so you may want to go down at least one size. It does recover once you take off though. I bought it in a size 10. Length is excellent! Perfect for all ages ! Can wait to wear it with boots this fall and winter !

It does run large. But if you look at the size chart that is accurate with measurements. I didn't trust it and ordered my regular size 10. I should have. I have no issues with the skirt at all. Cute and comfortable. The light blue color is perfect

I’ve tried on a dozen long denim skirts and finally found the winner! It runs large, I got a 10 and am usually 12/14. Even sizing down, the waist is generous. I couldn’t go smaller because it would be too tight on my hips. The low rise isn’t super low, and you can always hike it up a little. I do not like the tummy pooch/sausagey look that high waisted jeans skirts give me. I think the back pocket size and placement really flatters your booty, and the slit isn’t too revealing. My only criticism is that the raw waist sits kind of awkwardly in the back; it rolls/folds over and looks funny, but I’m hopeful my top will cover it or it won’t be that big of a deal. I got the blue denim wash.
