Women's Mini Dress - A New Day™ Brown XS

Saw this in store and loved it but they didn't size (XXL) so I scanned the tag on the app and figured I'd order it later. Went back on to order it and read the reviews about it running big so I went back to the store and tried on an XL and it fit! It's a little sheer but I just wore a flesh toned bra and shorts. I have a big bootie and I'm about 5'9" so it was just a little shorter than I'd like but nothing was hanging out. The fabric is nice and the color is beautiful! I was also lucky enough to get it on sale!

If you’re petite don’t bother. It won’t cover your boobs and the back will go down to your butt. I’m so sad about this honestly, might try to shrink it

The yellow one is so see through, my anatomy is a little too dark to wear with nothing underneath. The pattern was cute but the material was so thin

5’7” 138lb 36B, 29” waist, 39” hips. I’m usually a small or medium in target dresses, I tried this dress in a small and xsmall. I decided to keep the small (pics are of small). First off, those complaining that this dress is oversized are misunderstanding the style. This dress is not meant to hold itself up by the elastic, the entire dress is meant to hang from your neck. You want the strap as tight around your neck as possible, that’s what holds your dress up! The dress is meant to HANG around your torso, so it drops and hangs in the back. Do not keep sizing down until the chest elastic is what is holding the dress up 🤦🏻‍♀️ This dress won’t be for everyone, it’s very lightweight, bohemian vibes but not everyone’s chest will fit correctly or comfortably in this dress. I could have fit the xsmall but ultimately I liked the extra fullness of the small and how it hung a little more naturally. So I’d say buy one size down or your regular size, but understand it’s not meant to “fit” in the chest. It’s more like a handkerchief dress. So… tight around the neck, hangs around the torso.

super cute dress! I bought my normal size but was pretty loose up top. recommend sizing down one or maybe 2 sizes. but otherwise super cute and flattering dress!

Looks beautiful. Love the print/color options. Runs HUGE & weird fit. The XS run like a large around the chest but a small around the waist. Target should adjust & try selling again because I would have loved to be able to wear it.

I had to return. The material is terrible and it fits poorly. Not flattering at all.

I read most of the comments and I definitely see what they’re saying about the cut of this dress. I’m normally a L and I got an L, but it’s cut in a weird way to hand weird around the breast area. I have relied on fashion tape for years, so I used that to keep in place, but have a sexy yet cute look for my vacation. I got this on sale for $15 and it’s such a cute dress for the price!

I am pretty petite but could fit extra small in a lot of clothing. This thing is huge, even in XS! The sides of my boobs show and the back of it almost is down to my waist. I'm 5 foot four and 115 pounds for reference. Might just use it as a cover-up for upcoming vacations. But then again, the material is not great for hot weather. It will probably make you sweaty.

I really love this but my boobs don’t. If you’re a plus size girl and big boobs it just doesn’t fit right. I tried on different bras to see if something would work with it but nothing. I’m so sad. It’s so pretty!

Great simple dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the print of this dress and the ring accent at the center front. I am 5’5” tall with a 32” waist and ordered a size medium in this dress. I could have easily purchased a small or extra small. The top portion of the dress has elastic at the back which was extremely loose on me to where I felt I was exposed in areas I shouldn’t be. I do like the length and it is very lightweight and thin. If you get the right size it would be perfect for summer.

Too big and the material is pretty thin. Not sure what is going on but Target’s sizing has been so off even for their own brands. I’m usually an XS or S in this brand and it was like wearing a thin window curtain. I would have had to size down but there is nothing smaller than XS.

If you want a dress that fits like a halter necktie, this is for you. No front coverage except your sternum. It looks NOTHING like the product photos.
