How to measure

  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

Form fitting and flattering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the A New Day womens off the shoulder mini dress. This dress is an XS and it fit perfectly and true to size. I am 5’3” 115 lbs 32A/B and normally wear a size 2 or XS. This dress is very comfortable, I like that it is off the shoulder, the fabric is very lightweigth and linen like. This is a pullover so you may have put this on before doing hair and makeup. Also though this fit perfectly this is not a stretchy material and because it pulls over your head some may want to size up. This is a mini dress but the length was not short or mini on me it actually was the perfect length.

Interesting dress, made off shoulder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dress is a size medium on my partner whom typically wears a size medium at 5 foot 3-4 inches tall and around 155 pounds. The dress is not very stretchy at all but more in place and the design is such that it has to be worn off the should which is a unique choice for the dress but is also nice that you don’t have to keep pulling it down your arm it just lays there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hated this dress but I’m not sure if it just was meant for a very straight body type. There wasn’t much room through the chest or hips, and the off shoulder element just didn’t hang right in my opinion. It is short (I’m 5’9) and wearing a xxl. I don’t hate the thought behind it but maybe it would flatter a different body type!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super cute little black dress. I ordered it in a size medium and the fit on it is great. It drapes nicely off the one shoulder. I love that there's still full coverage up top. It's a little bit on the short side in the back. Overall though, it's a really pretty dress that you can jazz up with heels or boots, a waist belt, any kind of jewelry and more! Endless possibilities. This dress is very versatile and I love it!

Nice design & fabric, Poor overall execution...

The design of this dress is beautiful BUT overall, poorly executed. The pleated ruching on shoulders is nicely done. One side is “off shoulder” & can’t be worn another way. It’s lightweight & pretty fabric texture. HOWEVER, the issue is the cut of the dress itself & the inconsistency in sizing between colors & within the same color/size group. I found one black & wanted and couple more, green as well but struggled to find another that fit?! For example, with most torso would fit but the thigh area seems to be cut wide and/or the dress cut long. I highly suggest, if possible, trying on the dress in Store as you might find one that fits nicely. Also, should mention- one was damaged but Target Customer Service was helpful in resolving it.

This dress is OK, wearing size large

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this dress in my normal size of large and it fit true to size. For reference, I am 5’5” tall, weigh 160 pounds and am a 36dd. This dress is lightweight and comfortable. It is not see-through. The thing that I don’t love about it is that it’s probably best to wear a strapless bra so that the bra straps don’t show since it is a wider neckline.
