I've been kind of casually looking for a pair of button-fly jeans, and I'm getting REALLY sick of the "skinny jeans" phase. I did try a pair (different brand bought elsewhere) of button-fly skinny jeans, because that's all I could find, and they went right back ... incredibly cheap "denim" and a weird fit (way too big in the waist, too tight in legs). I spotted these by accident while looking for a pair of the kick boot style and ordered a pair. Mine have five buttons on the fly, although the picture would lead you to believe there are only four (the three showing, and one on the waistband). Mine have four below the waistband. I like having the five buttons. (I almost didn't buy them when I saw there were only four buttons ... looks weird to me.) Anyway, these are my new FAVORITE jeans. The legs have plenty of length at a 32-inch inseam. (I'm 5'7".) They look like real jeans when you have them on, although they feel softer and lighter weight than what I would consider a true denim ... but, I'm old enough to remember what real jeans felt like - ha! At any rate, these are extremely comfortable and extremely flattering, so much so that when I put them on and looked in the mirror, both times, I had to look again, because I couldn't believe they looked as good as they do. I don't know, they just give you a long, lean look. They do have a VERY high rise, just for reference. They go well above my belly button. That doesn't bother me ... allows you to wear shorter tops if you so choose, and you're still covered (and I plan to do so, so the buttons show). If you're on the shorter side, though, or are short-waisted, I suppose the high rise could be a problem. Oh, by the way, the first thing I do whenever I buy jeans is wash/dry them on high. If these shrank, I couldn't tell it. I just ordered two more pairs.
