Women's Slim Fit Tank Top - A New Day™

A: This item specifically came in 2 different versions: Ribbed and NOT ribbed; the ribbed one is a racerback but the non-ribbed one was smooth, like cotton, not ribbed and not a racerback style, just a regular full back. I ordered color pink for this item and got stuck with the ribbed material anyway for the regular style back one. Something has obviously changed for this item, at least regarding some of the colors like pink, but not being updated in the item description ..?

A: Yes it is! And fabric it's soft. I'm 165 lbs and got xl but could've gotten an large and done ok. It is just a tad sheer though, so don't know about the white. I got three pastel colors. Hope it helps. Have a blessed day.

A: The dark grey and olive ones arrived with a full regular back but both were ribbed. I did however order the white, black, teal and navy colors in this and they all arrived as described ( smooth and full back). These were all size M.

A: I'm between sizes also, and with this brand of tanks, I've noticed that I can go with the smaller size for the NON-ribbed version, and the bigger size for the ribbed. This one is ribbed. I'd go with the bigger.

A: i'd go with an XL, patty. i am also between sizes (DDD) and chose XL i like it but it's a little shorter than i'd like

A: I ordered 5 tanks. They came in different fabrics: Ribbed: black / white / pink Smooth: teal / burgundy The smooth fabric is so much better. I will be returning the ribbed ones. Hope this helps.

A: So much time has passed since I had asked this question that I have now purchased both sizes. Your answer is inaccurate; the length on the extra small size is approximately 2 inches shorter than the size small. Perfect for short-waisted, small people -- I love these tank tops, excellent quality. Other key differences: The extra small is a narrower cut overall -- again, likely perfect for most people under 100 lbs. The size chart referred to is not very useful for many items, in my opinion, because it does not provide general size measurements with correlations on arm openings, garment length, neckline drop from shoulders, etc. This is probably what most people are seeking. Bust size is a useful indicator but not the only one people require.

A: All of these tank tops, USED TO BE almost 100% cotton (I recall 90-95%) but NOT ANYMORE ... that explains the huge price drop; also, I too had received some ribbed when I ordered smooth fabric.

A: Depending on the color, some shrank worse than others (grey shrank the most, by 1 to 1 1/2" in length). However, I didn't realize they're *hand wash* only! Says tumble dry but I suggest to dry flat.
