Not at all happy with this nightshirt. First of all, it is too thin, second, it runs small. I need a large because I have wide shoulders so I am used to having a small amount of loose fabric around my body - this is ok with me as I am in my 60's and don't want form fitting clothing, especially pajamas, around my body. This nightshirt did not have any extra room within the body and I found that it pulled open around my breasts. At first I thought that it was not made of flannel because it was so thin and not soft, but upon closer inspection, I did notice that it was flannel.
Needless to say, I didn't keep it because since it was already a bit on the tight side, I figured that it would shrink when washed and dried and then it wouldn't fit.
Three words. Concentration Camp clothes. I had no idea until after I bought this top home and tried it on again, with the matching pants. The outfit looks just like them. I DO give them 2 stars for comfort. Almost 100% cotton. It is very hard to find high cotton content PJ's. Why can't Target make the tops in green plaid, like the red plaid ones? They make the green plaid pants. Who is making these decisions?
This is a well made, light weight flannel nightshirt. I do believe it runs a bit small. I always wear xs/s and I ended up keeping the medium. Due to the nature of it being cotton, I was afraid it might shrink with drying. And it did shrink a bit.
