This sweater is warm, has desirable pockets and the length is lovely but it’s super low quality. Looked cozy and sleek on the hanger, tho obviously pretty big- I usually wear S-M and needed an XS here.
It pilled and pulled under the arms and anywhere sweater met sweater on the FIRST wear. Now, after 5 wears is completely scruffy. Like I’ve been hiking in brambles.
It’s a LOUNGE sweater for around the house, which is how I’ve worn it occasionally, over pjs or leggings, since December 26.
It’s also highly prone to static cling.
I’ll continue to wear it around the house til it”s not presentable, which at this rate might mean tomorrow, less than 2 months since purchased.
So...I really needed a dark gray long sweater, and after numerous attempts to buy something else, I settled on the gray version of this. While it’s soft and deceptively flattering (given how loose it is), it will very quickly begin to look like something you picked up at a thrift store. It wears poorly, will get manky-looking quickly. Fine for house wear but maybe not so ideal for my hoped-for use (to work). Pricey if you want fabric that will wear and maunder well, and probably still pricey even you want a lounge-y house sweater.
This robe/sweater is very soft and cozy. I am not sure if I will wear it as a regular sweater with jeans or as a robe with pajamas as it is really of good quality and is lovely. I usually wear a L to Xtra large in sweaters but I purchased a M-L in this one and it fits very well and is not real bulky feeling. I tend to overheat, and this sweater feels lightweight and I hope i won't overheat in it. I definitely recommend this sweater.
I’m 5’5”. 125 pounds. The small hits below mid thigh which I think is a good length. It’s loose but not too baggy to look frump. Live the pockets as they aren’t too loose to be impractical. I don’t like the texture. It pills very badly. The wool gives it a scratchy appearance but the actual feel is ok.
