I have always bought C9 flip flops, because of their durability and comfort, compared to the cheap-o varieties out there for a few bucks. I purchased this flip flop in the blue, in the size I have worn all my adult life and still wear: size 6. My old flip flops are C9, and I was still wearing them but they have compressed and the strap was beginning to break. They are also a size 6.
When the Veanna C9's arrived, I thought there must be some mistake. My foot was falling off of them. They seemed narrow and short. Frustrated, I ordered a size 7 to compare, though I've never worn a size 7 shoe before. The size 7 was a little better in fit, but I felt compelled to take photos of the difference between C9 flip flops from 2-3 years ago, size 6, and the C9 flip flops I bought this season, as both the size 6 AND size 7 are **smaller** than my size 6 flip flops from a few years ago, in this brand. I have had no dramatic changes personally that would require a different shoe size, and all of my shoes still fit, so this must be a change in their sizing parameters. For reference, the size 6 Veanna flip flops have the elastic removed that bound them together. The size 7's that I just received today are still connected by elastic.

I couldn't show width difference between a new size 6 and an old size 7 because of the 5 photo limit on reviews. It seems ridiculous, though, that even the size 7 in this year's stock is smaller than C9's size 6 from 2-3 years ago.
