Don't buy these if youre planning on using them for farm chores... I bought these a year ago and the bottom of both boots has already blown completely out. 5 stars for comfort, 4 stars for traction in the snow/ice, 1 star for warmth & insulation (even with wool socks these don't keep your feet warm when its 15F outside), 1 star for not being waterproof after the bottoms completely ripped off, 1 star for durability... and because they arent durable, 1 star for the price. Hoping that Boggs will be a more solid choice and will last longer than a single winter on the farm

I have always been completely satisfied with my Muck Boots. Easy to slide on and off and never leak. The tread does eventually wear down but only after several years of wearing them all winter long.

These boots fit my feet great, are true to size and generally very comfortable. One issue is that the top of the boot ever so slightly curls inward and will cause friction burn on your shins. I didn't realize how bad it could get until I had worn them out a few times so I didn't return them. I did find, however, that if you wear snug knee high socks that could help the boot from rubbing on your skin. So, in conclusion, as long as you wear these boots with snug knee high socks they are great. They definitely keep your feet warm and dry. But if you don't wear them with snug knee high socks you'll have friction burn on your shins all season.

Very comfy, offers great support. I plan on using these as rain boots and occasional yard boots. I would definitely purchase again.

Why did I wait so long to order the best barn boot available? No longer freezing my feet while doing chores!

A tragedy happened to my Muck boots. I bought them on sale at a well known boot store in my area years ago, maybe 6 or 7. A friend that comes over to help feed my dogs once in a while (because she loves them) and do kennel work. She left the back door to the mud room open and my dogs got hold of my beloved Muck boots. They chewed the top edge (the rest of the boots were left in tact, still usable, but now ragged and ugly). I couldn't take it. I had to have another pair, although the color was not available. But a new color even more appealing to me made my day at the sale before Christmas. Wow, the price really has gone up. However, since these are my go to boots for everything! Yes, I ordered a pair. I love them. Not rain, sleet, snow, and mud and even ice can foil these boots. I can wear them sock-less in the snow and not get cold feet. I wear an 8 shoe, but these boots I got a 7 just like the last pair and they are comfortable with winter socks too. They help stabilize my steps. At age 70, that is important and one of my most favorite features. Even in ice, they don't slip badly, again important. I gave the chewed up pair to the friend that left the door open. She loves them and even though chewed, said she would never be able to own a pair if not for giving them to her. She didn't care how they looked as long as they were still intact and useful. I guess the softer top was the only place they could chew before giving up as my dogs are of a breed notorious for chewing things up in record time. As I am an active old lady, I don't leave my new boots on the porch anymore and hope these last the rest of my life. I don't plan on giving up my farm love life for some time to come. There may be other brands out there, but why go there when I already know how these boots perform and I believe "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Thank you for having the sale before Christmas, just in time for my boot tragedy to turn boot "pair-a-day" with a good ending for my friend and me.

Love these boots! Warm and comfortable. Worked for 2 days in the mud and my feet never got tired or sore.

I received these as a gift for hunting boots. I am very cold natured so I needed something to keep my feet warm and also dry. I'm also short so the shorter boot is perfect. My feet have yet to be cold sitting in the stand or walking. and when in cold water, I cannot feel the cold water. I would recommended these if you like to keep your feet warm and dry. Two thumbs up from me.

They are warm and sturdy, good for all weather conditions in the city! I was looking for a winter boot in Chicago where it’s wet and muddy a lot so leather boots get ruined quickly. Fit is great, I’m usually a size 7.5 or 8 and a 8 in these boots fit perfect.

I purchased these boots to keep my feet warm and dry while at internships with my students. I live in NY, currently the temps are in the 30’s. I’m outside going between barns for only 1.5 hours and my feet are always cold. I’ve tried wearing several brands of high quality wool and moisture wicking socks.

I live in Minnesota. These boots are very warm in our cold winters. I shoveled my driveway in -10F weather and stayed warm. I went for a walk in 5F for a half hour and never got cold or wet feet.

I was in the U.P. for 10 days when the snow arrived on wet mud and my B*g* showed me that they weren't waterproof. So I went to the nearest store that had Muck Boots and purchased these because they were the only one, of two, that had my size (6, I'm a 5 1/2). These fit fairly snug, kept my feet dry and gripped the snow/mud/ice fairly well. However, they are not very warm at 29 degrees. You need warm socks and toe warmers. The "fleece lining" is very thin but the soles being thicker allows distance from the cold ground to your feet. They are a bit clunky to walk in but not uncomfortably so. So, if traction is important to you, these are good for that. If warmth is your priority, look at something else.

Great barn boot for Rainy days but also just to throw on and go feed or run errands !! Love them

Normally size 8 but size 7 fit me best. I live in the U.P. of Michigan and this is the preferred boot to get thru the winter.
