This is a well made, quality product! Very easy to assemble provided you follow the instructions.... key is to keep all screws loosely tightened until after you assemble the entire chair. This insures you can align all screws. Often parts are cheap but not here- quality screws, no pressed board wood look alike. all solid wood with a real comfortable chair even for our heavier sorts. I would expect to pay double for a chair like this assembled and, yes, simple and classical in design- so magnolia hearth and home!

They look nice! But I would avoid these if you don’t want to have screws falling out and going though tightening them weekly. They got wobbly and squeaky within months of owning.

I was hesitate to purchase these based on reviews. I looked everywhere for ones similar but ultimately decided to give these a try. They are PERFECT! Sturdy. Super easy to put together. My kids are tough of them and they hold up well. One did come with a scratch but I just exchanged - no biggy. If you are on the fence buy them. Great price for this chair!

Pain in the butt to put together. Pieces don’t line up very well. I unscrewed a screw about 100x just to get it to line up but was not successful. You get what you pay for. On one of the chairs, the main part is rough and gave me a splinter.
