Q: what type of wood? is it 100% solid wood all around. specifically asking if its mdf or composite or other wood products and if any pressure treatment or chemical treatment or glues used?

A: This is made of 100% solid pine. Glue may be used on Mondo Llama wood products. The wood is not pressure treated.

Painted with my kids last month and hung it outside, a few baby birds are currently nesting in it and it’s about to break! The roof has almost completely separated from the house itself and the bottoms almost Falling off! Praying it hangs on long enough for those birds to be out… If you plan to put it outside don’t!

This birdhouse is adorable. It's lightweight, but made well. It is the perfect size for nesting birds. The fact that it also comes undecorated is really neat! My girls and I had so much fun decorating this birdhouse with designs. We decided to treat the wood, so that the birdhouse will stay nice in all types of weather. Definitely a fun rainy day project.

This is an adorable birdhouse! I got this as a little project to put into my yard, and it's been a perfect fit. It's made of just plain wood, so we were easily able to paint and decorate the birdhouse as we desired. The wood is pretty thick, and I was easily able to handle it without feeling like I was going to break it. It's now sitting outside waiting for a bird to move in!

Cute little bird house, I was planning on just hanging it up as it was but then later decided to let my kids paint it so it can give them something to do and that way the birdhouse wouldn't be plain. We will see if the birds like it since I barely hung it yesterday.

I really love this cute little birdhouse.The size is great.The birdhouse is well made.Its not too heavy.The bottom has screws that can be removed for cleaning.You can either stain it or decorate it the way you want.
