Q: My stand has a chemical smell that transfers to whatever is on it. I've washed it and aired it out multiple times. Any recommendations on getting it out?

Q: Will a large 3 layer cake for under this cover without touching top?

A: Hi Cheryl. Great question! The inside of the dome on the glass cover is 5.5", as long as the cake isn't taller than that, it should fit perfectly. Hope that helps!

Gorgeous cake stand, works great with my decor. The glass dome is not the thickest glass so I am extremely careful when I wash it or move it. I will say that I don’t think this keeps baked goods fresh as long as you may want. Then again if something is delicious is it gonna last more than a day or two? 100% would recommend if you are baking with the intent to display it on a table for dessert after dinner or for baked items meant to last 1-3 days.

Perfect for my dinning room, so far the only negative thing is a tiny air bubble in the dome. Ill be really careful with it I noticed the reviews about the wood that cracks easily. You can tell glass is fragile

I have wanted this since my daughter in love used it for my 60th Birthday cupcakes in August!! Always sold out so I gave up and went today for a different one. Low and behold there was one sitting right next to the one I went in for! Needless to say I grabbed it right away. I absolutly love it on my table.

I loved this cake dome because of the tall height for cakes. It’s beautiful on the table. However, the top glass dome is very thin and fragile. It broke the first time I tried to hand wash. I was so disappointed. Every time I picked it up I felt it was going to slip out of my hands and it finally did. Definitely needs a thicker glass.

I purchased this Thanksgiving weekend. Baked a cake it was beautiful my auntie and sister loved the look of course I am a baker my cakes are the best the cake done was not on because I wanted to show my work. Have no problem with the cake dish it is jazzy.

It’s cute but it’s more of a display vs actual cake stand. It has a horrible chemical smell that has not come out after a year of owning it. No matter what I do, it smells like chemicals and any food you put in, will also absorb the chemical smell and taste!
