Add a touch of industrial appeal to your kitchen island or home bar with this Woodsboro Adjustable Barstool from Threshold™. Made with a sturdy black metal frame, this barstool features a solid wood seat and small backrest, along with a in-built footrest to create maximum support and comfort while you enjoy a meal or a chat with friends. Combing style with functionality, this industrial kitchen barstool comes with an adjustable design for a customized fit for your space.
They are exactly what I wanted in the looks department but they are not sturdy. We had to use them at their highest point because of our bar height. The seat was very unbalanced. Screws kept falling out. I should have returned them but I didn't and now I am getting rid of them because they are just to rickety and uncomfortable.
When I was trying to build this stool, none of the holes lined up with the screws. To attach the parts of the chair where you would rest your feet, I had to unscrew some of the legs to allow them to pivot a little, and the whole chair looked like it had been twisted (see photo). Even then, I couldn't screw in the fourth leg (see second photo). The circle-y thing was a full half an inch off of where the legs were, and, even though the screws were longer for that part, the holes didn't line up no matter how you configured it. I will definitely be asking for a refund and will never again be buying target furniture. The quality of this product is atrocious.
Although they may look good, they are extremely uncomfortable. The front edge digs into your thighs every time you get in and out. My legs are actually hurting a day after working in this chair. The back of the chair leans too far away making it impossible to sit up straight. Otherwise, it leans so far that the bottom digs into your back. To top it off, the chair wobbles. The pieces were also not the easiest to get together. I will without a doubt be breaking it down and returning.
Online these were it! The chairs I had been waiting for but after I assembled the first one (out of 4 that I bought) the chairs are clearly for looks. Not functionality. The back rest is useless. It is curved weird and the bottom edge hits you in the back. But if you try to sit back- you slide out of the seat. (See picture I attached.) I do not recommend them for kids.
Love the look of these and the ease of adjusting the height just by turning them to where you want them. Everyone that has come in to our home since has complimented and asked where we purchased them! :)
