About this item
Your favorite early reader will love taking that first step from being read to, to reading on her or his own, with Phoenix International Publications' World of Eric Carle Electronic Me Reader Story Reader and 8-book Boxed Set. Choose a book, press the matching book and page buttons on the module, and hear the whole story being read aloud along with fantastic sound effects. Rich music and illustrated stories featuring the Very Hungry Caterpillar and friends immerse you in the action and bring your favorite World of Eric Carle characters to life. For pre-readers, associating words with pictures and sounds builds sight-word recognition, and for children on the verge of independent reading, "books that read themselves" enable them to listen to a story, follow along in the book, and actively participate in the story . . . all on their own! The perfect gift for any Eric Carle fan (and beginning reader!) and a fun addition to any library, pick up a set and dive into the action. Include 8 hardcover books, standalone electronic pad that resembles an eReader, 18 sound buttons, 8 LEDs, 3 replaceable AAA batteries (included).
