For someone who is not a big wrestling fan, this game is a good game that offers great gameplay. The play mechanics are easily learned, which makes the gameplay fun and exciting.

The gameplay of this is an awesome idea. Similar to other card games, the play is never the same. The quality is good, and the overall design allows for possible expansions (wink, wink) to expand the game. Great game for any wrestling fan.

Do you think you would like to play a card game featuring WWE Legends? If you do, you will love this game. Do you want to play this game with other people who aren't really into WWE? That might be a little bit of a harder sell, but I have to say, I've played this twice and was able to interest my VERY non-wrestling friends in this game both times! Here are some fun things: If you get eliminated it' a bummer, BUT then (as long as it isn't the very end of the game) you get to draw up a new legend. This is fun! And it doesn't even really matter that you were eliminated, the only goal is to be the last one in (JUST LIKE THE REAL ROYAL RUMBLE.) So go under that bottom rope, keep your one wrestler until the end of the game, OR cycle through the whole stack - you're on virtually equal footing at the end of the game. The game is fast, and silly, and fun. I wish there wasn't a pandemic, because I have a few other friends I'd live to play this with! My one complaint, the box says it plays 2-12, but the directions only give set-up instructions for 3-6. I received this game in exchange for my fair and honest opinion.

I received a copy of this game in exchange for my opinion. As a wrestling fan and a board game fan, I really enjoyed this game. It was a fun card game that blended the two. I used to watch wrestling as a kid, and remember watching some of these legends in their peak. There were two knocks on this game though. If you were never a wrestling fan, like my wife, this game isn't for you. She hated when I would talk about how cool some of these wrestlers were back in the day. The other small issue I had was the rule that if you threw more wrestlers out of the game, you don't get anything. I get that this is a Royal Rumble game, so the last wrestler standing makes sense. It just seems weird to me. Outside of those two small issues, I would for sure recommend the game to wrestling fans who play board games. The artwork is great. The nostalgia of the wrestling scene was very fun, and the gameplay is simple and fun.

I received a copy of this game in exchange for my honest opinion. The game is fun overall, even if you are not that knowledgeable about wrestling or the wrestlers. (My husband who is knowledgeable had a blast! Every time he looked at a wrestlers card he got excited!) Overall, as a non-wrestler fan I give it 3.5 stars. My hubby, says 5 stars as a fan. So honestly, get the game if you are a fan! You will have fun!

I recieved a copy of this game in return for my honest review. This game is a lot of fun and good the play with lots of people. It's fast pace and relatively quick once you get the hang of it. It's more fun with people who understand wrestling. I've played with people who have no frame of reference, and they enjoyed it, but didn't find it as fun as me. I find that the cards are a bit thin and not the best quality, but I like to sleeve everything any ways so this isn't a problem for me.

Rather boring if you aren’t a WWF fan.

Our family are big time card and board game fans but don’t necessarily know a ton about WWF. I played this game with my 10 year old son and 9 year old daughter and we were all a little underwhelmed by the game play. The premise is simple enough but once you start playing many of the action cards present a lot of questions. We felt slightly confused the whole time and weren’t 100% sure we were interpreting the actions and effects correctly. It reminded me of unstable unicorns in that way, i am constantly wondering if i am playing that game right as well. The winner is determined by who is the last one standing, and not by who won the most battles. That was a bit frustrating to us as my daughter won every battle but the last one. As always with ravensburger, the quality was fantastic and i think WWF lovers would get a kick out of this game because of all the references that were mostly lost on me. But for our family it might be something we pull out a couple times a year for the wrestling fun, but as a game on its own without the WWF gimmick it’s just ok. (I received this game in exchange for my fair and honest review.)

First and foremost I’d like to tell you I received a copy of this game in exchange for my opinion which is as follows. WWE Legends Royal Rumble is a great party game that’s enjoyed with three or more players (box says two but I wouldn’t do that). It really does ooze with theme and if you’re a fan of old school wrestling and have a nice size group of people to play with it can get insane. You first all pick a superstar at random, get your signature move cards, and draw up your action cards. Everyone makes a decision on who they are attacking and everyone puts the card down at the same time and that’s when the chaos starts. Did you attack the same superstar another person did? Or are you the one being attacked by multiple. Did you have a defense card that let the ref get involved? Or did you take all the hits and reduce your life points. The game advances through rounds until all superstars are eliminated and only one remains, who is the winner of the royal rumble. This game is super easy to pick up and learn, you don’t even have to be an avid gamer, it’s just that easy. It’s fun, it’s entertaining, and even people who aren’t fans of wrestling had a blast with it. I would highly recommend!

If you love Royal Rumble and WWE, you will love this game! WWE Legends Royal Rumble is a fast paced mix of luck and strategy, of cheering victory and crushing defeat! It is played like a battle, knock your opponents out of the ring faster than they can knock you out. Then, once your superstar is knocked out, you draw up a new one and jump right back in the ring! I thoroughly enjoyed smashing my friends and family in creative and devastating ways, and we will definitely be playing this game again and again! I received a copy of this game in exchange for my honest opinion.

Before leaving a review I must tell you that as an early reviewer, I received a copy of the game in exchange for my opinion. This is a WWE Royal Rumble in a box, pure and simple. If you have ever loved watching WWE you will love this...activity. I hesitate to call it a game, as there is really no sense of choice, there is no strategy, the "luck of the draw" is everything, and the win condition doesn't really reflect a "win". BUT it is OVER THE TOP (rope) in terms of theme. If you don't use ridiculous wrestler voices and taunts you are missing the point of Royal Rumble. It's very quick and chaotic. When you get a great combo, and your opponent can't block, it is so satisfying to see them slide over their defeated wrestler, even if it is obviously OP. My biggest complaint is that the box says 2-10 players. 2 players is nigh impossible due to card text instructions, 3 player is boring, and even 4 is just meh. At 5+ however, this is so fun, as you really feel like you are in the arena waiting your turn and you're not sure who's going to jump in and swing a chair - unless the ref breaks in. I can only imagine it gets better at more players, as long as they are playing their part! So: Don't buy this if you're looking for a strategy game. DO buy this if you are looking for wrestling-themed fun for a big group.

First off I did receive a copy of this game for review but I will be giving my honest and fair opinion about this game. If you love wrestling this game is for you. All the nostalgia from the box design and the catch phrases of the different legends is great. In this game you are in a royal rumble match trying to throw your opponents out of the ring till you are the las legend standing. Games are fast paced and fun and the gameplay is much more complex than at first glance. For instance I went to kick my opponent to set up my signature move just for them to avoid the attack and piledrive me onto a steel chair and throwing me over the ropes. It’s like watching a real match but with cards. My only two complaints are the rock should be in this game and not Batista and that the instructions say nothing at all about how to play a 2 player game. The box says 2-10 players but the instructions only mention 3-10 I had to watch a YouTube video to find out how many legends I should use for 2 player. Plus there are cards that don’t work or make sense in 2 player games but there is nothing that says to take them out so you end up making house rules for those cards and the Undertaker is significantly worse in a 2 player game because his signature can’t do what it wants to do. So all and all I highly recommend this game ton of fun I just thing you should have at least 3 players or they need to make 2 player rules.
