Disappointed no game in bundle!

I purchased the StarWars Fallen bundle. My son was so excited to get the Xbox One X. That he began to open it while I was at work. The problem was there was no game in the bundle. There was only the codes for Xbox Gold and Game play. This is unfortunate as if I was there I would have noticed perhaps the box had been tamper with. But all I can tell you is that I am disappointed, I ordered from Target as a reputable seller to avoid things like the from different sellers at different sites online. I under the impression from the listing that is was a new console. I am not sure where the issue occurred whether it was from Microsoft or through Target but somewhere along the way something happened and I do not have a game I payed for in my purchase. Please give me your solution to this issue.

Hi Martin, we're sorry to hear that your son's new Xbox One X bundle is missing the digital code for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. This code should have been printed on a card included inside the box, similar to the code for Xbox Live Gold. We recommend exchanging this bundle for a new one at Target as soon as possible. We hope this helps. --Chuck, Xbox Customer Care

I'm extremely happy with this bundle. Gotten it over the holidays. That Deal fro $350 was totally worth it. I had it shipped. Packaging was good, not 1 mark or dent on the box. Target.com packaging have gotten a lot better over the years. Right away I went and gotten an SSD. As the Stock drives of the Xbox One and PS4 arn't quite up to todays standard. Load times are cut by half or more, will reccommend that to everyone that's just getting a Console now, no need to do it right away.

Returned item sold as new

Well, I am really disappointed in Target today. Bought this on 12/08/19 as a Christmas gift for my husband, when I saw it was on sale for $349. It was the last one in stock and it took the staff member some time to locate the unit. I was really appreciative of the effort he went though to get it for me but when he was ringing it up, i noticed a tear in the outside sleeve. So I asked him if it was a returned item and he replied that it was just surface damage to the box. He said sometimes they get snagged and tear. I believed him and since the store was crazy busy and I didn’t want to hold up the line, I bought it and left the store. When I got home, I put all of my purchases in the back of the closet. Of course, I was running behind and wrapped all my gifts a couple of nights before Christmas and saw that the tape circles were sliced. I am kicking myself for being “polite” at the counter and not questioning the packaging. I peeked in the box and even though the tape was tampered, it looked like it was in order. So I was hoping my intuition was off, I wrapped the xbox and placed it under the tree. Guess what, my husband hooked up the xbox and it had to do an update right away, we waited as it progressed. Once it finished, it opened up to someone else’s account. So it was a returned item after all. Kind of put a damper on Christmas and it sucks that I will have to stand in the return line tomorrow, especially when I asked if it was returned in the first place.

I purchased this specifically because I wanted to upgrade my gaming console and couldn't decide between the Xbox one X or the PS4. When I went into my local Target on Black Friday, I saw this console on sale and I saw that it came with the fallen order game included... That made the deal for me... I was very excited and immediately set up the console... only to find out that the code for the game had already been redeemed! I don't know if this is a Target issue or an Xbox/Microsoft issue but I submitted a complaint directly to Xbox and have yet to hear back after the initial submission (two weeks ago!) and I would return it to the Target in exchange for another console, but my local Target is sold out of Xbox One X's! Needless to say, this was a very disappointing experience for me. If you are buying this for the console and don't care about any game codes that might be included, then this is a great piece of equipment (I've only been able to play fortnite, since it's the only free-to-play game that I can get right now that will display in 60 FPS). The graphics look incredible... but unfortunately, I haven't been able to try any other games since I don't want to shell out another 60 bucks for a game that I might have to return as well if I have to return the console.
