The assembly design was relatively easy, but there were a ton of scratches. I assembled it to see if they were noticeable after assembly, and they definitely were. I’m disappointed that it doesn’t feel very sturdy for how much it costs. I feel that investing in a nice antique or furniture store dresser that is already assembled would be way more worth it. Too large for me to return it. Pretty disappointing… this is my first time buying new furniture for my place and I wish I didn’t

Do not buy this tall chest unless you want to spend an entire afternoon attempting to put together, the instructions included are by far the worst I have ever seen. I had to disassemble and re assemble so many times because instructions are not clear. It was very frustrating trying to figure out where parts go. It also arrived with two damaged pieces, the wood had chipped and a chunk of wood was nearly falling off. Very cheaply made. If you value you money and your time don't buy this junk.
I would rather sit on a broken tabasco bottle than go through this again.

Once these are put together, they are quite sturdy. That being said, the assembly is incredibly tedious. There are a gazillion parts and it takes forever to assemble them. It took two of us over and hour to put one together.
Not saying not to buy this but be prepared for a lot of work. And, again, once assembled they are very nice.
