I just got this in the mail today, and as soon as I unwrapped it from the plastic, I noticed it was shiny and sticky on both sides. Just touching it with my hands got something on my hands, and I had to wash them because they were sticky. Will be returning.

The mat is pretty thick. I like that its wide and long. I did feel the floor slightly hurting my back when doing situps though. Even though its thick the material is sort of like a memory foam type of material and not very effective in my experience at protecting from the floor. To be fair, it does make a difference. With my previous mat i wouldnt feel the floor against my tail bone and it cost around the same price, thats why im giving it 3 stars. To sum it up, you get what you pay for.

I ordered the gray one and have used it for about 2 months, 6 times a week. Tbh this thing smacks, it hasn’t shown any marks of damage from my use case. 5/5 if you want a mat that is thick enough that your tailbone doesn’t feel the hard floor under.

I've only used this mat 3 times thus far, but the grip is fantastic! We had a large workout mat and grew tired of cleaning and storing such a large surface, so we decided to opt for something slimmer. I wouldn't recommend it for activities with shoes, but it's awesome for yoga, barre, pilates and sculpt society workouts! Super easy to clean too and love the thickness.
