Q: How long does the sound play before shutting off? Most I've found only play the sound for 30-45 minutes, and I need it to stay on for the duration of her sleep as we're on a very busy road and also the neighbor's dog doesn't stop barking.

A: We use it for 12 hours overnight sometimes and it stays on the whole time.

Q: Can you please compare main differences in function between this product and Yogasleep Dohm? Also wondering if this product has noise buffering capabilities to help block out my barking dog? Thanks:)

A: The Hushh is a digital unit that provides 3 different sounds, Bright White Noise, Deep White Noise, Gentle Surf. The Dohm is a mechanical unit with a fan inside, with 2 speeds. We would recommend our Pawzz Home unit for your barking dog, as it was designed specifically to help with canine anxiety and barking!

Q: Used this 10 times when my granddaughter is visiting. Kept it permanently plugged in since the second time cause it died in the middle of the night.Turned it on last night & it won't do anything???

A: Oh no! Due to the unit being a travel unit we suggest to not leave the unit plugged in for long periods of time or while in use. It should take only up to 4 hours to fully charge the unit and then last for up to 8 hours, depending on the volume set. Please try leaving the unit completely off of the charge for 24 hours and then charge uninterrupted for four hours. This should allow for the unit to return to normal use.

Q: What is the difference between this item and the Yogasleep Rohm Travel White Noise Sound Machine?

A: Thanks for asking! The Rohm and Hushh are similar in size and have the exact same three sound options. The differences are the Hushh has an additional child-friendly features like a child-safe button lock, a soft amber LED night light, and a plastic clip (verses the Rohm's rope lanyard) for conveniently clipping to wanted items.

Q: Does this sound machine no longer come with a way to attach it? Previously it came with a green hook, the one I just received did not come with one.

A: Thank you for asking! The Hushh Sound Machine requires a USB wall adapter (not included in the box) that will supply 5V DC. As long as you have an adapter that works with your home voltage, and supplies 5V DC, you can plug the provided USB cable into it for power.

Q: Do I have to use the rechargeable battery? Will it just take regular batteries?

A: Sorry to be late to answer your question. The Hushh should stay on for about 8 hours depending on the sound and volume level setting selected. Purchased in Sept and it stopped working in April. Used about a dozen times and it suddenly stopped charging right in the middle of vacation and my poor kid had to try to sleep without it. It also never held a charge overnight (would last about 8 hrs but my kid sleeps 11 hrs). I absolutely do not recommend it.

We really love this sound machine for on the go, hooked to the car seat. The only flaw is the clip is very flimsy and easily comes undone - I am fearful that one day the sound machine could fall off.

I received this sound machine as a baby gift (almost a year ago to the day) and it was wonderful while it was working. My child is now just over one and the machine has stopped working entirely. We have only used it as a travel machine as we have the Yogasleep Duet as her everyday sound machine but all of a sudden it won't turn on nor is there a green light when it is plugged in to charge. I am pretty annoyed that this product only last a year with use that complied with the directions. I am also annoyed that I am not eligible to make a claim given that I dont have proof of purchase since it was gifted to me from my registry.

Great sound machine so far! I love the sound options and the clip that allows it to easily attach to things. I’m puzzled how on the box and in the description it states it’s a night light. The ring clip and icon on the sound machine look like they glow in the dark, but they do not. Nothing lights up at all so I don’t understand why they say it can also be used as a night light?

My 12-week-old baby is in the hospital right now. I wanted to help make his bed remind him of home where he sleeps with white noise for naps and night sleep, and also hospitals are noisy (beeps, staff coming in and out of room) so I bought this portable sound machine. It has been a godsend. Since I got it he has had better quality sleep and isn't distracted by his surroundings. Note: I do turn it off and charge it during night time nursing sessions so I can't speak to its longevity.

This has been the best sound machine. The charge lasts for over 3-4 hours without being plugged in (would probably last longer I just haven’t tested it overnight.. I leave plugged in overnight. I have two toddlers (14 months apart) and they each have one that stays on the wave sound mode every night! Both have slept through the night since very early ages and I believe it’s due to this sound machine and black out curtains (and a consistent bed time routine too). Would recommend to anyone! Also has wide range of volume from very quiet to loud if you need

We purchased this product to replace an old sound machine (by the same company) that broke after a few years. It looked and sounded slightly different, but we didn't think anything of it until it stopped working or accepting a charge just days after purchase. Would not recommend.

We have 2 portable sound machines. The owl and this one. My baby LOVES the white noise on this particular one and started sleeping in his own crib at 3 weeks because of it!! It gets a lot louder than the owl too! We have it command hooked right above him in the crib. The only problem is that it dies after 8 hours.. I use to charge them between night feeds but now that he doesn’t need those, he wakes up at 4am every day because it stops working.

Good item--- had malfunctioned as it would not shut off. but once I looked up the fix, it started working again. Problem was I was charging it when not in use. But it works better if you let the charge fully drain before you plug it in to power source. No problems since then. Have only had it a month though
