Spill proof gone wrong
This cup is great in theory, spill proof, sturdy, cute colors, dishwasher safe.. but I noticed both my kids drinking less when we switched to these (ages 3&6) so I tested one. It is SO HARD to get the water up the straw! The effort they put into spill proofing these made them impossible to drink from without putting in extra effort for every single sip.. who wants to struggle to drink water? Do not recommend if you want your kiddos hydrated.

Incredibly difficult to drink from
Leak proof but extremely difficult to sip. My 4.5yo son is very active and when he wants to drink a lot of water at once, this bottle doesn’t work for him. Would not recommend.

truly leakproof and perfect for kids
i took a chance on this water bottle because my 3 year old needed a leakproof water bottle where the straw wasn’t always up and exposed to germs. this fits the bill! she loves the color and i love that it’s truly leakproof even when the straw is open. i shook it upside down HARD and only one drop came out. we’ll see how it holds up but so far we love it! the size is perfect for kids and it comes in tons of cute colors plus the price is affordable especially for a stainless steel water bottle.
