My son is really into musical instruments. He loves to identify the instuments he hears whenever he hears music anywhere. I knew he'd love this toy...and I was right! He plays conductor and carefully adds instruments one at a time to create his perfect sound. He is 4 and will play with this for hours on end. The delightful classical music is much nicer than most toys that make noise, so eveyone's happier! see less

This is one of our favorite toys ever. We got it at Christmas for our 4 year old. Our older 10 year old has been playing with it as well. I almost didn't get this guitar because it was a dog. But my son saw it and was attracted to it. He has five toy guitars, so the last thing we needed was a new one. But unlike the other toy guitars I was impressed that this one uses actual music notes in the scale, and the strumming action was more realistic. You can make it sound like an acoustic or electric, or even a woofer hound. There are 22 songs. All in all, my son loves it, and after I realized how well designed it was, I couldn't pass it up. I have been very impressed with B. Toys, and this is another winner. see less

We received this as a gift for our 3 year old and he has loved it ever since. Our almost 2 year old also loves it so much we've had to replace the batteries in it twice already!! Our microphone has gotten pretty beat up with 2 boys and it still works great! This is just a great toy and would recommend it to anybody. see less

My daughter absolutely loves her B. microphone. It plays familiar nursery rhymes that she can sing along with. We also record messages to her that she can play herself - which she finds very humorous. She has dropped it on our hardwood floors many times, and it is very durable. These were a gift for our children, ages 4 and 1, and we all love them. The sound is like a small windchime - high-pitched and twinkling, and actually very pretty. One end of the mallet is hard plastic and the other end is a bit softer and rubbery, so the sound on that end is slightly muted. The 8 bells make a C scale and each is marked with the letter of the note it represents. Each is also marked with 1 to 8 dots to represent the bell's position in the scale - low C is marked with 1 dot, high C with 8. It can get a little loud when the kids are really banging on it, but on the plus side of that, it seems very durable so far. My only complaint is that the base detaches from the main piece pretty easily - granted, it's marked for ages 3 and up, but when our 1-y-o inevitably gets his hands on it, he constantly takes it apart - so I agree that supervision is a must for the littlest ones. In general, we are huge fans of this toy - and I think the price is incredibly reasonable, too! see less

I originally purchased one of these for my 6-month-old niece - although she obviously can't use it by herself, I was really surprised at how the music notes captured her attention. She loved it when it spun around and she could see a wheel of different colors. Because this toy is actually a great musical instrument as well and comes with the notes for a few songs, I decided to purchase another one for myself, as I am a nanny and am always looking for new ways to engage my charges in music and movement activities. When I first bought this toy, I played with it for 45 minutes. The noise is very calming and sounds wonderful. I let my 11 month old daughter have a whirl with it and she loves it. I cannot let her play with it without supervision, because she is too young, but she already figured out that it makes noise when you twirl it and put your stick on it, so it's an easy toy too, which is nice. see less

I purchased this for our 16 month old son whom cannot talk. He LOVE noises and loves to play music and use the piano app on my phone. We purchased the Drum set from B. and he loved that so I picked this up. Took some getting used to but he dances and loves to hit the keys and all the buttons. I would even reccomend this for younger children as it would be great to work on fine motor skills! Love this brand of toys will keep buying! see less

Yes, it can be annoying after a while for the parents, and may leave you with the songs in your head after it's shut off, but our daughter absolutely loves this toy! She plays with it daily and multiple times a day. It was definitely a great purchase and the microphone part is a great addition, even down to the retractable cord. see less

We bought this for our daughter when she was about 5 months old. Not only did she love it, but Mom did too! I sing along with the catchy songs & she smiles & laughs. She's now 10 months old & still plays with it. She loves the microphone now that she finally learned what it does. We did have to buy a new one because she spit up on the keys & it no longer worked, but it's such a popular toy in our house that I went to Target that same day to get her a new one! I also bought it as a birthday present for my nephews first birthday & he enjoys it very much too! see less
