vd Good - This is a really nice lamp. I have a 60 watt bulb in it and it gives a nice warm glow to the room. Note I have tried several bulbs and the cool/daylight is best in my opinion. The soft lights make the light way too yellow with the color of the lamp shade. The shade filters it enough too that I don’t think it will ever be a really strong light for reading etc. I was wanting a corner light to light the room/ambient. Seems sturdy and has a heavy base which seems like it won’t tip over too easily. The bars across the top are made of metal and seem to be constructed solidly.
