Bed Head Makin Waves "S" Waver is rated 3.3333 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't like it at all! It's very overpriced. It doesn't work very well. Makes your hair look crimped, and it burns your hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work This was a bad purchase! The crimp does not hold my hair very tightly so it does not give much of a wave. What a waste.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Waves I love this product. It transformed my hair from straight into beach hair waves!!! Compared to my other curling irons, the double barrel saves time on curling vs the alternative. This product was really easy to use and everyone commented on my hair and the natural looking curls. The curls remained very dynamic until I washed them out. I would definitely recommend this product to others! The author of this review received a free sample of the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this! I love this product! I already had a waver but have had it for years now and I'm replacing it with this one. This is so lightweight and easy to use. It takes no more than 3 seconds to wave a piece of my hair, I do have thin hair though. It heats up really well and quickly. I can't say more about it other than I love it and it's such a great price! The author of this review received a free sample of the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this!! I originally thought I would use this on a hair style that would be more sophisticated, but I thought about keeping things simple. I curled a wavey bun neatly on the top of my head it came out great. My cameras acting crazy so no pictures yet, but I would definitely recommend this curler to all my friends it didn't stick to my hair with spritz and oil sheen. It wasn't over priced this would make a great stocking stuffer . The author of this review received a free sample of the product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waver I have had a lot of experience with Bed Head products, but I had never tried a hot tool from them before. I was excited to use it because it is very trendy to have soft tosseled waves that give you subtle volume, but not Shirley temple curls or 80's volume! I found that unfortunately this product did not do that for me. I blame part of that on very fine hair but for as long as it takes to go from the crown of my head to the end of my hair just past my shoulders in each section it does not give me the look I desired especially to spend that much time on it. It is also a little cumbersome because it is double the size of a typical iron in order to give the wave couture. I don't feel like it is a high quality iron with plates that don't damage your hair as much, so given the amount of time the heat is on the hair, that is not a good thing either. It looked like a really fun concept, but would not have the patience to mess with it for the end results. The author of this review received a free sample of the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Crimper I have used a few different wave hair products in the past and this one doesn't really stand out from the rest. It is simple to use, but I wouldn't say it was any better than the others. I have noticed that it tends to smell like burnt hair more so than a straightener or curling iron does though, which isn't pleasant. Overall, it's good but not great. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! Love! Love! After years of only purchasing expensive "Salon Quality" hair products and accessories, I decided to give the Bed Head brand Makin Waves hair wand a shot as I really like some of their other products. I am absolutely IN LOVE with this waver!! It heats up quickly and does get very hot which can really cut down on your total time spent doing your hair since you only need a few seconds per clamp. The S-wave of the barrel makes using it basically fool-proof since the waves can be a bit messy and don't have to be perfect. I curled about a 1 inch section at a time and sprayed each section when done. Keep in mind, like I said, it does get really hot so watch your scalp but it has a plastic tip so your fingers are safe and no gloves are necessary. The waves actually stay really well so I've been sleeping on mine, then the next day, I use the Bed Head Sugar Dust hair powder to "clean" the roots and add some volume. Viola! Looks even better than the day before. It doesn't have an automatic shut-off so you do have to remember to shut off and unplug. All in all, I am really impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it, especially for the price! The author of this review received a free sample of the product.
