@rosegoldamy Damien had his 6th grade winter concert last night and was so excited about preforming. He wouldn’t tell what songs they were sing, he wanted everything to be a surprise 🎶 The whole chorus killed it and I couldn’t be any prouder 🥰 A little back story on Damien... he’s dealt with a severe speech and language delay his whole life, comprehension delay & multiple brain lesions and not once has he used any of these obstacles as an excuse for anything! Crushing goals off of his IEP each year... He’s been through 4 different school districts, 3 different elementary schools, now on to middle school and has had tons of hours of speech to guide him to be the best student to his ability...
