never worked,luckily opened before xmas to load songs for granddaughter. wouldnt turn off after turning on. couldnt download anything. had to take battery out to turn off. Like it locked up.had to take it back. see less

I ordered this for my mother who is in a nursing home and partially sighted to listen to audio books. She is very distressed that this doesn't work and thought she'd broke it. The placement of the batteries is very poor and the CD player is clearly faulty. I don't live anywhere near her to get it back and return it to Target. Very disappointing! see less

I bought this just as a method of listening to some audio CD's for study purposes. First off, the batteries are not located on the backside. Instead, they are inside the CD player itself. So you have to open the lid and open a battery compartment to put batteries in. That seems strange, especially because it encourages smudgy fingers all over the interior of the player where only CD's should touch. After figuring that out, I was able to listen to the radio just fine--which is not what I needed this for--but it won't play a single CD, whether it's a store-bought music CD, a lecture CD-ROM, or any other kind of CD that I put in there. It's likely that I picked up a single dud in a rack of excellent players, but since I opened the CD pack up beyond the 30 day return point, I won't be able to exchange it to find out. Instead I have to assume it's simply a "you get what you pay for" thing, and I won't by RCA again. see less

I purchased this mp3 based on its capacity and the RCA brand name which usually produces good products. However I was immediately disappointed when I first turned the thing on. It...is....slow. I have owned an iPod and a small Sansa, and it comparison this was terrible. It takes forever to load each menu option.The wait is even worse if you want to listen to a playlist. I found the software to be confusing to use.Also after owning it for less then a month the left ear bud went out. I tried to use a pair that I already owned but still no sound in the left ear. I purchased a brand new set and still no sound in the left ear. Next time I will just spring for the iPod. see less

I found out the hard way ... see more

I found out the hard way that you can not just load your music and go with this player. It only plays music in a MP3 format and newer music is in a M4a format so, through trial and a lot of error, I discovered a free on-line conversion download and was then able to use the player. If I had known that from the get-go I would have saved hours upon hours and hours of frustration, but now that I have figured it out, I do like it. It is a music only player and you have to scroll through one song at a time, but on the flip side, it is a very inexpensive MP3 player with good sound and it stores a lot of music. see less

We bought these last week for our unexpeted drive home from disney, our flight was cancelled. Drove 19.5 hours and had no issues with these players. Kids loved them. No issues with sound. In fact we had to have the kids use headphones after awhile because the sound was too loud. Picture is great. Love that you can play two movies at once. see less

This DVD player was recommended to me by a family member and I LOVE it and my toddler does, too! Like some others, I had problems with the sound quality on certain dvds. Since my daughter is too little to wear headsets, I fixed the problem by buying a cassette tape adapter. I plugged it into the headset portion of the dvd player and now the sound plays through my car speakers. This is a good option for parents who have a cassette player and do not mind listening to your child's dvd. However, I recommend checking the cassette tape adapter cord length to ensure it reaches the dvd player. I have a 40" one, it's enough for me b/c my seat is close to the steering wheel.I also purchased the 3 year warranty just in case anything goes wrong down the line and the AC adapter through the RCA website to play the dvd player indoors. see less

I waited to post my review until I used the DVD players for awhile. We started with one DVD player in each car for one child. Now we have them connected in the same car. The picture is great, the remotes handy and the quality seems great. I only have small complaints that I can think of but I am glad I got a system that did not crash!! Small complaints.... the buttons on the front of the screens are toddler accessible, there is no way to adjust the volume using the remote while driving, and if I want to turn it off while driving, I just pull out the lighter plug since the remote doesn't turn it off. But if you are looking for a system that will not skip or crash out quickly, then this one has been great for us for a long time!! see less

This clock radio has all the options. There are many sound/music options to wake up to. It is very nice to keep my iphone by my bed and have it charged. I was carrying a cord around with me. One negative is it is easy to turn the alarm off if you are moving the unit. Move it and check the front to see if the alarm is still on. see less
