I bought this pack for day hike and biking. I used it for my 4th July weekend for day and urban hikes. The 2 liters blader and various compartments are great for this purpose. I have not used it for biking yet. So far I have to say it's has been great. The setup1.) 2 Liters blader - although not as huge as the 3 liters offered by Camelbak but for 1/2 the price, I'm not complaining. Plastic taste is a given, just fill with Gatorade and you'll be fine. Cleaning is easy if you buy Outdoor product cleaning kit for bladder.2.) It has 5 storage compartment - it's close to 700 cu not as big as I would like. It held snacks, camera, mp3, rain jacket and the also a bike helmet (or in my case a change of cloths for my girlfriend)3.) Construction is ok not as good as those offered by Camelbak and it's not waterproof.Pros-1.) For 1/2 price of Camelbak you cannot beat that.2.) You can swap out similar liquid gel bladder from Outdoor Products which can be frozen to create a "cooler" effects on your drinks.3.) Plenty of compartments for all sorts of items.4.) Insulated hose - most camelbak does not provide insulation for your hose.Cons-1.) Mouth piece drips a bit - not a whole lot though2.) Volume could have been bigger for this type of pack - Similar product from Camelbak goes up to 1000 Cu.BottomlineThis is a great hydration pack for the money. I would recommend and buy this product again.D-MAN see less

I shopped around different websites and retail stores looking for a good price on a decent bag. Some of the best one were starting at $80. I had thought this would have more space but i was happy with the exterior pocket for a small pump and change of clothes. the tube is insulated which is a plus. Most packs don't have that. The water bladder holds about half a gallon. I have not regretted buying this pack. I have used it daily for a month and no problems. the mouth piece doesn't drip. good product. see less

I love the size of this pack. I used it for Bonnaroo and it was the perfect size to hold all the items I needed in Centeroo. Didn't work so well as a hydration pack as the mouthpiece broke on the first day, but then I just used the bladder section to hold other items and threw my water bottle in the middle section and all was good.But as a small backpack with lots of pockets? Fab. Just buy a replacement bladder/hose. see less

I purchased this bag for a 3 week trip through asia. It holds a decent amount of gear, but there were not many areas to store things inside. 2 compartments. One for small gear, one large compartment for clothe/laptop. The compression straps are very handy and kept contents compressed and close to my back for stability. For a pack that costs less than [$], it did its job well. For anyone expecting excellent quality and longevity out of a backpack, i'd advise going to an outdoors store and getting a pack that is purpose built for more rugged use. If this bag broke, I'd consider buying it once again. see less

I bought this for my son to replace his 5 year old backpack which we also bought at Target. The old one truly wore out and owed us nothing. This new Swiss Gear bag literally started coming apart at the seams after 2 months. For one thing, the shoulder strap came open and he has to push the padding back in every time he uses it. Unfortunately I don't have the receipt, so I can't return it or send it in for warranty repair. I would not recommend this pack for daily use. Basically, it's a cheap piece of junk pretending to be high quality under the Swiss Gear name. see less

The picture is extremely deceiving online. It showed the inside of the backpack was black, normal color, but when I received, it's a bright obnoxious orange. Not flattering. Also, despite the size being 19", it does not even begin to fit my 16.5" laptop. The laptop pocket is extremely small and tight. Definitely would not recommend! It looks like something a middle school boy would have, not a college student. Ugh. see less

This is exactly the bag I've been looking for, and less than half the price of big-name competitors but with more features. Excellent compression/ load control, good harness with chest and removable waist straps. Perfect size for cycle commuting or a half day ride with the kids, and no gimmicks. Plus it looks good. The only thing missing is the fancy brand name- but it's at least as nice as my larger Osprey and North Face bags.. see less

I purchased two of these frame packs for my son's boyscout camping trip. they worked great, lots of room and pockets.you can adjust them to fit different size people they carry verywell,we had to hike back to the camp site (about 1 mile).Other scouts were impressed with the quality and the price. see less

I like this bag a lot. I didn't realize it had a place for the computer- so that's a nice added bonus. However, my computer is a little too big for the computer pouch but I just let the corner not be zipped. I like the design and the inside is a really nice bright orange. I like how sturdy it is. see less
