Matches my other Avington items nicely. Only issue was with shipping. It arrived damaged on one side. Enough to make me disappointed but not enough to make me bother with trying to return it. Looks like wood was hit with a hammer. I am glad one side goes against a wall. All fixed. LOL. Unfortunate, but the hassle to return it and hope it doesn't happen again was not worth it to me. One corner chipped as well.
Overall the table is solid. Very easy assembly - you screw on 4 legs. Takes maybe 5 minutes. Be sure to re-tighten the screws after you put it upright. Don't drag it across the floor as that puts strain on the legs. The top is super heavy and the legs are pretty skinny considering the weight of the table top, but it isn't a traveling table or being used as a chair for elephants.
This table is so pretty and assembly was a snap. It's very heavy and looks and feels very solid. There were a few scratches in the wood but that's to be expected with boxed furniture. A great table for the price.
This is a good table. I bought it when it was on sale, so I got a great deal. However, I'm convinced it'd be worth the everyday price, though--it's made of real wood, it's sturdy, and it's it easy to assemble--the booklet has a "step one" and nothing more, haha. It is a smaller table, so it's great for limited dining space. Also, it has a elegant, dark finish. I'm thinking about buying the matching Avington dining chairs!
