READ UNTIL THE END!even though the color can be deciving it is a really good foudation! i found it a little orangish but that was probably because its winter and i was putting too much on you only need a little. i found 2 pumps was too much. BUT my favorite part about the whole thing is the brand. Boots No7 is a brand from the UK and is very trustworthy. they always have outstanding products and packaging for a mediumish price its not as cheap as like ELF products but not as expensive as like MAC products. ALSO what i love about the brand is that THEY DO NOT TEST ON ANIMALS! which is probably the reason they are a bit pricey but its hard to find a drugstore brand that doesnt test on animals. the only other one that i know of is Revlon. see less

Found this at Target to replace new 24 Hrs formula for Revlon CS. I hit ALL the dept store counters trying to find a beloved longwearing, truly neutral pale beige color clone to no avail. Although there are only 6 color choices--my reason for 4 stars-- I bought Cool Vanilla and tried it on my pale 60 yr old combo skin with pink undertones, using a damp sponge on bare skin over moisturizer alone. I didn't need to use powder or concealer. The finish was a soft matte, very natural w/o either looking cakey nor greasy. The color stayed true for more than 10 hours with NO transfer and it has the most natural doesn't-feel-like-I'm wearing-makeup feel that I was lamenting in the CS. It is medium to full buildable coverage. This stuff exceeded my hopes and comes with a nice pump dispensing an appropriate amount. see less

This makeup is by far one of the best powder foundations out there. I have used several of the top brands, and in my opinion this beats[.....] hands down. It's half the price and provides better results. Great buildabIe, even coverage and no settling in the fine lines. I am 50, with fair,sensitive skin with pink undertones. I have combination skin that is much oilier in the warmer months. I had originally bought this in the Buff shade but it seemed just a bit too dark for me. I usually wear BE in medium or medium beige.Today I wore this makeup in the Blonde shade, over Proactive Green Tea Moisturizer and Anthelios 60 SPF sunscreen fluid. After 8 hours my skin still looked great with no shine. No need to touch up or use blotting papers. I found the shade to be perfect and the application much easier than BE. This is a lightweight powder but has great coverage. I used my own brush because, although the brush that came with this is nice, I prefer a slightly stiffer brush for a more precise application of powder foundation.All said, this is a quality product at a great price. I had trouble trying to decide which shade to choose [fair, asian] since there wasn't any testers at the store. Decided to go with blonde and it worked out well, as long I don't put a lot on. I'm happy with the foundation itself, blends well, not too heavy (I use a concealer first for my large freckles) and stays it put. Also like that you don't need to use a lot of it. My biggest problem with this is the container! the first time I used it was fine, then after that a whole bunch of powder came out and there's no way of sifting it back in. Every time I use the foundation I have to make sure I open it over a tissue, tap a tiny bit onto the cover, swirl it around and hope not too much gets on the brush and blend like crazy!! What a mess and a waste!! I wouldn't buy it again. see less

I never write reviews but I must say that this foundation is so great! It matches really well. I'm a NC30 and I bought the fair. You would think the fair is too light but it matches so well. It's light to medium coverage but is also buildable. I just can't believe this is a drugstore foundation. I have been using this for a few years now and I love it. It glides on smoothly and sets to a matte finish. There's a lot of dimethcone in this which is great because it means I don't need to use a primer with this. In fact, to get a full coverage look this can be used as a primer before using a foundation. Boots has some great products and this is definitely one of them. see less

Spending 15 dollars on a drugstore foundation can seem steep considering its sold where i can buy gum lol, but after walking around target for about 20 minutes with this product in my kart, i decided that id purchase it once i got to the checkout. IM SO HAPPY I DID. best 15 bucks ive ever spent on foundation.i dont even use my MAC anymore! Personally, it goes on my skin like silk. i use a stippling brush.. I really would say it goes on better using it compared to my hand or a sponge. Everyone noticed how my skin looked so amazing the first day i wore this foundation. I didnt know what shade to get, but im happy i got this one! Not only is the product AMAZING,but the packaging is also so nice..a nice pump and the bottle itself is even pretty lol. I absolutely love this foundation!! Great coverage, perfect color for my yellow skin lol. Looks flawless and feels like silk! Any way you apply it you just cant go wrong. Looks more natural than the revlon colorstay. I have oily skin but the creamy texture doesnt bother my skin at all! Lasts me all day and doesnt transfer. This is my new must have foundation! I love love love this foundation. I have slightly pink undertones, and this is more on the yellow side. I have never attempted to neutralize my skin, but this has worked wonders. I am 44 and have just found this makeup. It is a light coverage, so if you have a lot of blemishes it will not do the work, but for me it is perfect. It evens out my skin tone, makes pores appear almost invisible, and just goes on evenly and perfectly.The best part is that it looks as if you have nothing on, so you don't look caked up. It takes very little to cover the whole face. I was using loreal's visible lift, but this beats it by a mile. My new fav. see less

I love all the Boots No7 products and this one works well for me too. Just need the tiniest mini drop that I dab over the Boots moisturizer. Evens out my skin tone beautifully and looks natural. I aim for a no-make-up look. The porcelain shade is an excellent match for my skin tone. I use Stila #10, Stila's lightest shade, compact powder - brushed on - for the finishing touch, along with a little dusting of Nars blusher. see less

Add a little bit of your moisturizer to the foundation on the top of your hand, mix slightly, and apply to your face. It's perfect! It glides on effortlessly, gives a velvety smooth finish, and feels oh so soft. The price? So, so inexpensive. Amazing product! i have the worst skin! oily in some spots and dry in others. Also, my biggest concern is i had HUGE POREs... this is a great fix. Had my mom try this too whom has aged skin.. and she also loved it. I would recommend this product for anyone. The best way to apply is to use two fingers and tap/press it into your skin instead of using circular motions. Hope this helps! see less

This foundation went on so splotchy and blotchy that I ended up returning it. It seemed to pick up every imperfection in the texture of my skin and seemed to settle in my fine lines and pores. I've never had a makeup do this! On the positive side, the color range was nice and I found a great color match.I've tried Boots skin care products in the past, and will continue to use those. This foundation is amazing- I haven't even touched my high end foundations since finding this. And the best part is that it's well within my budget. I knew I could return it if it did not work for me and I'm glad I tried it. It is a cream to powder consistency and on dry days I add a liquid luminizer to this and buff it in with a synthetic kabuki to make it dewier and on oilier days it stays matte enough without a powder on top. this is called a foundation but it is used as a base, you apply it under your "No7 Intelligent Balance Mousse Foundation"!!!! it is a Base!!!!! its silicone texture is for cover up, so that the cream foundation isnt soaked up by your skin. i suggest you buy them both and then rate it! it also helps acne because mac and all that other stuff breaks you out and this doesnt. i work as a make up artist and i use No7. give it a try! see less

Lightweight, matte, perfect subtle coverage. I also have the Boots Intelligent Balance Mousse Foundation and I find the mousse to have an even longer lasting matte finish and a little better coverage. But this stuff is still great! I have medium/light skintone and I chose the Medium shade. When you first squeeze it out it looks really dark but it blends nicely. If you are stuck between two shades it's probably best to go with the lighter of the two. Same goes for their tinted moisturizer. see less

I have virtually fallen in love with Boots. I was so anxious to try this Lifting and Firming Foundation. First of all the color is perfect. The finish was soft and natural and hid the flaws such as wrinkles on my forehead, broken capillaries, brown spots, etc. - they were gone. I had no oily t-zone at the end of the day - such a dilemma before with anti-aging foundations - this one lasted with a soft natural finish and wonderful coverage. I have tried high end products in the past when I could afford them, and Boots is so much higher quality than any of these. My skin is also sensitive and nearly every foundation would cause breakouts. Boots products are gentle on my skin. I would highly recommend this foundation. So reasonable in price and delivers so much. Those "crazy" infomercials promising beauty and youth can't hold a candle to "Boots". You just have to try their products! see less

As a British woman, I never cared for brands much, but wanted to be reminded of home so I started using this product and brand. I used this foundation on my wedding day and it matched my skin tone perfectly and I looked beautiful and flawless. It is so smooth, it feels light and does not cake, though the bottle is not the best design. I love using this product and it is a reasonable price too. I am also pleased with the fact that it is a more natural product than some of the high end stuff. I have sensitive combination skin and most foundations make me break out. I love this product because it goes on light and stays on for the entire day. It gives medium face coverage and gives your face a natural look. I reccomend this product for women that only want a medium coverage foundation that will even out their face skin tone and do not necessarily need full coverage from acne, scars, or spots on the face. It is a hypoallergenic product and it does what it promises to do which is take care of your face. I normally use Forever Makeup HD foundation #120 and found this foundation to be a little similar in coverage. The texture is a little thicker than Forever Make up. For drugstore foundation I normally use Revlon Colorstay. I would say it's the same texture as this foundation. I do not like the smell of Boots No.7 Stay Perfect. The smell stays on my face for a while. And the color selection is poor. So when I put it on, I could see "foundation makeup line" that you see from the face comparing to the neck. I returned this item because of the color difference. There was no other color that matched my skin color. see less

When a make up company discontinued the foundation I was using, I needed a new make up. I've been to [the more expensive stores], and I was not satisfied. The only thing I liked was a play stick by Benefit, but when the winter rolled around it was too dark for my skin. About three weeks ago I found this stuff, and I have already recommended it to several people. A little of this goes a LONG way, trust me! It covers wonderfully, and I don't even put cover up on now. My only complaint is that my face has broken out a bit, but I think that's a combination of stress and forgetting to wash my face at night. I love this stuff, and I bought several to stock up on. If you want better than store brand make up for less than department stores (and better than any of the make up offered at [the more expensive stores]) choose this one you won't be disappointed. see less

I bought this because I have been using BareMinerals for years and was noticing that it was not looking as good as it used to. Maybe I just wanted a change but my skin is also not as oily as it used to be and it felt like BareMinerals was making my skin dryer. Anyway, this foundation interested me since I'd been hearing a lot of good things about Boots products and like the idea of a non-powder foundation. I got the lightest shade New Ivory. Blond was a close match too but I know my skin is a little tan from the summer. I put this on and it was so smooth! Blended easily and matched well, and I didn't have to use a lot. I still used my BareMinerals, Warmth to blend and then it really looked flawless! It covered up my dark circles and my pores disappeared! Love this foundation!! see less

I usually use Lorac foundation, which costs about $40, but recently I tried this foundation. I was skeptical about it at first but this is honestly the BEST foundation I have ever used. So smooth and natural looking, but with great coverage. I have struggled to cover moderate acne for years and this by far covers it better than anything I've tried. I had always use expensive well known european brands, but I decided to try this product I saw in my target local store. It is AMAZING. I LOVE IT. I picked up other products the same brand that go perfect with this one, such as "N 7 soft and sheer tinted moisturizer" and "N 7 Rose pink blush" . All this 3 products combine make my skin look like a porcelain doll. I just love it and recomend it 100 Percent. However the fairest color they have is not as fair as other brands. Usually every target store has the "try me" of this products so you can apply it to your skin and see if it is your right color. see less

I got this makeup based on the reviews. I was going to order off line but I wanted to try the color out in the store first. Well, my Target didn't have the samples out to try so I just got the lightest color which is New Ivory. I am usually, if not always, the lightest color in all the drugstore brands. This color worked well for me. While putting it on I thought it might be a little to dark but it blended well into my skin and looked flawless after I put on a little loose powder. I usually use light to medium coverage foundation but this is more of a medium to full coverage foundation. It doesn't look like it though. It just does a great job covering up any redness and imperfections. Doesn't look cakey or overly dewy (especially with the loose powder). I will say because it covers the redness and some natural cheek color you may have, some light blush or bronzer might be advised. see less

I usually buy 40 dollar foundation from Lancome. I decided to try this foundation because it was more expensive than the "cheap" makeup brands, and I'm glad I did. I was so sick of spending a bunch of money on foundation alone. This makeup wears just like the lancome makeup that I pay 3 times as much for. I didn't feel guilty when buying it this time. I have found it very difficult over the years to find a product that doesn't make my skin look like I'm wearing a mask or doesn't provide any coverage at all. This product works wonderfully and it lasts all day. I am a single mom at the age of 26 who decided to return to school as an Architecture/Interior Design Major. I am under florescent lights and sometimes hot lamps that would make my make-up come off. The make-up truly does look good under any light and doesn't come off during heat or humid Memphis weather. My skin would also break out from stress a lot & since I started wearing this make-up, that cleared up too! Don't know whether to attribute it to the make-up, but my skin looks 100% better. I always go right back to Boots! I saw an ad on television saying Boots was now at Target and i was thrilled because I wanted to try mineral makeup and couldn't afford Bare Minerals. I really liked it! The shade i bought was Buff, and it looked too dark when i bought it in the package but the store was out of the lightest so i thought i would try it out. It ended up being the perfect color for me! It is really evening out my skintone and I think making my skin look better, even without it on. see less
