This stuff is awesome, it really does repair your hair. I am African American, I have thick curly hair. Im 1 yr into my transition from relaxed to natural hair and the ends of my hair are a bit dry. I had my stylist use it as a deep conditioner, sat under a dryer, when she washed it out & tried to comb my hair the comb went straight through. Usually I'd had her comb from the bottom of my hair strands upward, but she was able to just comb my hair from top to bottom. Once it was blown dry & flat iron my hair looked like Caucasian/Asian hair. I was so satisfied with this product, because when I want straight hair...I want straight hair see less

my natural hair does not do well with puddings and most gels make my hair brittle. so i tried this. it leaves my curls defined. be sure not to use too much or will make hair cruncy. use a leave in conditioner or moisterizer then this product to keep hair from drying out. Cost alot but if you use small amouts it will last. smell isnt noticable or strong like most curl products. see less

It's 1/3 of the price of the name brand, and it's really great. I've been using it for about 4 months now, and I can totally see a difference even though I only use it once a day instead of the recommended two. My friends and family have really noticed the difference as well. I have PCOS which causes me to have very thin hair, and this helped regrow it and fill it in. Plus, it seems to create a lot of body which is an added bonus for me. I haven't had any reactions to date. The only con is that it does dry out my scalp a bit, but I use Neutrogena T-Gel once or twice a week and it helps. I would totally recommend this to any person who suffers from thin hair. I actually got this for my Mother, due to her hair had diminished from having surgery. She tried several products but nothing seemed to work. She was buying the cheapest products she could find at the local drug store. Being raised during the depression will do that to a person. 1. I use this to puff my fine, tightly coiled hair. After co-washing, I section, detangle, apply a fingertip-sized blob of this gel, comb through, and twist. Repeat until all hair is in twists. 2. I don't use any other products with this gel. It's a leave-in, sealant, and styler all in one. Not only that, but a little of this product goes a long way. 3. To finish, I use my hard bonnet dryer until it's 85 percent dry, style and allow my hair to finish air drying. OR I can allow it to air dry only then style. Either way, I get the same results. 4. Ladies, if your hair is gooey after using this product then you are not using this product correctly. I have thick afro hair and this product works great for moisturizing, which is necessary to get curl definition. First I mist my hair and then mix a dime sized amount of this product with a sufficient amount of the Shea Moisture Curl Milk. I then rub this through my misted hair very well and use my fingers to shape my hair into the desired style. It instantly moisturizes and defines curls. When products are very concentrated as this one, you only use a dime sized amount. Try this technique and see how well you like it!!! see less

I bought this product with skepticism, but after the first use, I'm loving it. My hair is 4c, very coily, and it shrinks a lot after shampooing. I wasn't expecting this to work for my hair, but this product is perfect for my hair because it moisturizes and gives a lot of shine and great curls. I only use a small amount about the size of a quarter, and it defines the curls. I get great compliments when I use this in my hair. This is going to be a constant product for my hair, along with the curl milk and the spray mist. It smells really good too. see less

When I want to run my fingers through it at the end of the day I can do so without getting my fingers stuck in stiff, gunky hairspray. Your hair still stays soft and not weighted down. This was in part due to years of relaxing my hair. Last year I decided that I would stop having my hair relaxed and made the decision to move to [...]. Even though I was only using an essential oil mist, my itchy scalp continued and so did the flaking, according to my [...] consultant. One day about a month ago she told me about this product which I went to purchase immediately. I have been very pleased with the results and the fragrance is light and wonderful!!!! Off to purchase my 2nd bottle tommorow. I checked on line and my store indicates that it's in stock. The only thing is the ad on Target's website indicates that it's a 12 oz. bottle when, in fact, it's only 4 oz. Frizz Ease Dream Curl is the best product that I have ever tried!! It's amazing, I have very thick wavy hair. My hair tends to frizz and look unbrushed since parts tend to straighten out and other parts wavy, using this product has changed that. It gives my hair an overall consistent wavy. I found this product while I was trying to find a replacement for another item that was discontinued. I'm thrilled with it!! I have a combination of wavy and straight hair textures. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of stands so it appears thick. It is about 4 inches below my shoulders. I have layers and the shorter ones tend to get frizzy in the humidity of Virginia. I get highlights to blend with my grays. When it's humid, my wavy hair gets very unruly and frizzy. I washed my hair and let it air dry until it was only slightly damp. I then used a pea size amount and rubbed it our my hair. I did this a second time to my problem areas. It looked amazing. Even the next day. The humidity didn't phase it and it stayed smooth and pretty. It smells wonderful!!!! Love Love Love it! It wasn't greasy and my hair wasn't stiff feeling at all. I use this product before I use a curling iron on it. I have applied it before and not curling my hair that day and it does not really curl my naturally wavy to straight hair. But the way I use this product on my thick hair before curling it works amazingly. It helps my curls stay in ALL day, which is so nice because my hair normally can't hold curls for more than one hour. I would highly recommend this product to people who are looking for something to keep their curls created by a curling iron in longer, but not to people who are looking for a product that magically transforms your hair into a beautiful mane of curls without doing anything else but simply applying it. see less
