A little smaller than I thought, but still absolutely perfect. Anyone who says this piece of furniture is difficult to put together, obviously has a serious reading problem. It's no more difficult than putting together LEGO's pay attention to the instructions, and it goes together fine. This is the 3rd Carson Espresso collection item in our home, and we plan on purchasing more to go with this piece in the family room. The other pieces have been just book shelves. For twice the price, we could have purchased junky items that were similar, and similar in construction, from the local furniture store, so this is a great deal. see less

I ordered this for our 46" LCD tv and it is perfect. The wood is great quality and it looks great in our living room. We did have a little difficulty following the directions, but got it figured out. I like the way all the screws and such are placed in pockets according to each step. see less

This was easy to assemble and arrived well packaged without any dings or breaks. Took about 90 minutes to put together and it looks great in it's new home. The color is more gold or mustard, not a bright yellow, which works great in my home with wood floors and light colored walls. see less

I loved this media cabinet from the moment I saw it online. My husband put it together in under an hour with no problem. It arrived very quickly and the packaging was great! My only complaint is that the wood has a nasty odor that filled up my living room, seem to dissipate after a few days. Just purchased this TV stand. Instructions are very lacking. Just make sure the top and bottom arrows face toward you. This will be the front. I was able to put it together by myself. It took about 4 hrs since I had to take apart and redo. The only problem is the shelves are only 15 inchs wide, so my satalite box and DVD player do not fit inside. They should have made the drawers a little smaller to allow a wider shelf. see less

Looked real nice in the pictures but proved impossible to assemble. Threaded inserts pulled out of the material. The inserts for the cam locks were not driven in to the correct depth making the cam locks impossible to lock. Terrible quality. Sending it back. see less

I purchased this on 9/30/12 it arrived [...]. It is lightweight so if you live in apt. it's easy to get upstairs. This stand is just as well built & the quality just as good as any stand that costs much more money. Easy to build, directions are easy to read. in the 2nd picture it appears the doors are clear they are not, they are plastic which sounds cheap but they are very sturdy plastic & look nice when all done. DO NOT pass this up great price, great quality for the money. see less

My husband and I shopped around for a long time trying to find something to fit in our living room. We walked around Ikea a couple of times and nothing really fit. When we saw this, we loved the style and it is really a beautiful piece. It only took us an hour and a half to put together and it wasn't difficult. I recommend looking VERY closely at the pictures in the directions as they explain the steps better than the written instructions do. Overall, we are extremely happy with this! see less

This piece is 1-2 shades darker than shown, a true "espresso". I am using it for my 50" and it fits just right. The assembly was fairly straight forward, except as stated in a prior review that a few of the predrilled holes were not large enough for the packaged screws, but after opening them up a bit with a screw driver it went smoothly. The storage space is adequate for my needs. I added some door pulls and am happy w/ my the value and look of this stand . see less

Purchased this for a projection tv that weighs about 60 lbs. Ours is not wobbly at all with the legs on as some other reviews have said. I was afraid this was going to look too 70's based on the picture, but it actually looks a lot better in person. It's a lot darker than the picture and looks more modern. You could easily leave the doors off to have all 6 shelves exposed, or add knobs to them. I was afraid the quality would be poor based on price, but this is an awesome product! see less

I was able to put this together in about 2 hours, while watching my 8 month old. The directions were very easy to follow and the finished product looks GREAT. I had a little trouble getting the drawers on track but I'm chalking that up to user error. It looks a lot more expensive than the price. Well worth it! see less

My husband and I needed a replacement when we moved from a rental house to an apartment. This was PERFECT for the space we needed to put the tv stand! It took some time to put together, about 2.5 hours or so, but it was very easy to put together! My husband was only frustrated with the angle they wanted him to screw some of the screws in. However, we did find a simple solution, though it did require my assistance. The quality of the piece is pretty superb for the price! We did opt to use the optional chrome/silver drawer pulls that come with it and LOVE the way it looks! Overall, do not be afraid to purchase this tv stand! see less

Finding the right TV stand was a challenge for my living room because of the position of the outlets, but this little guy is perfect! It ended up being a lot shorter than I anticipated, but that turned out to be a good thing. The directions for assembly were easy, but it was REALLY hard putting the screws in (I had to do it by hand because I don't have a power drill), and ended up with a really sore hand with two blisters from gripping the screwdriver. But the final product looks so much more expensive than it was. It is really a beautiful piece. Just use the power drill!! see less

I love my new media cabinet. I have a huge DVD library and my original cabinet could not hold all my movies. I was a little uneasy about ordering without physically seeing the cabinet. It has exceeded my expectations. My Daddy and I put it together in about 45 minutes to an hour. The doors glide smoothly, the cabinet is sturdy, and it arrived in a timely manner. I've had this rack for more than a year now & it's still holding up great. If you look at the picture, you'll see there are diagonal bars that act as a stopper on each shelf. The idea is that when the rack isn't full, these hold the dvds in place. I would recommend leaving these off. They do a really bad job of holding the DVDs on the rack before the rack gets full. Then once the rack gets full, they take up space that another DVD could be taking up & they cant be removed without taking the whole thing apart. I saw another review that mentioned that the DVD's slid off. That happened to me a couple of times too, when the rack isn't that full, the DVD's had a tendency to want to slide off. Once the rack gets full though, it becomes a lot more sturdy. see less
