For the shell, use Nilla wafers or a similar cookie. Mix buttercream icing or frosting with food coloring of your choice, and apply it to the cookie using a piping bag. For the pearl, use a white M&M.

Tip: Use piping tip #2D, and if you don’t have a piping bag, use a Ziploc, and cut one of the corners.

Make blue simple syrup (mix equal parts granulated sugar and water, boil 10 minutes, add blue food coloring and let cool). Layer the cup with 1-oz. blue syrup, fill cup with ice and pour lemonade over the ice and enjoy.

Tip: To get the right color gradient, make sure you add the ice after the blue syrup, but before the lemonade.

Create cute jellyfish lanterns: expand paper lanterns and add tentacles made from crepe paper, ribbon and curling ribbon. For tentacles, fold crepe paper over many times and cut fringe on the sides then unfold; hot glue crepe paper and ribbons to the bottom third of lantern. Finish the lantern by gluing crepe paper around the base.

Tip: Cut crepe paper and ribbons at various lengths to give the tentacles more dimension and really bring them to life.

Every little mermaid deserves their own magical starfish wand. To get started, gather dowels, ribbon, starfish and hot glue. Simply tie ribbons in a variety of colors to a craft dowel and glue the starfish to the dowel. Easy-peasy!

Tip: Pour some sand in a glass vase or jar to display the wands.
